I've worked with the company that's helping out with this tournament (King of the Couch) before and the owner knows who I am. I will assure that VC9 still happens if Alex decides to actually be serious about quitting this time.

This event is 100% going to happen.

Yeah, if Alex isn't doing this, I'm going to be on TO duty the whole day. That means I can't enter anything or commentate. I'm going to find a mod to transfer ownership of this thread to me (at least temporarily) so I can keep things updated.

Alex isn't coming, I just got off the phone with him. Also the Pound incentives are NOT going to exist for this, just FYI. This is 3 weeks before Pound, I know people realistically mostly can't travel to both.

Ok guys,


Basically I have some really crazy **** going on in my life and I am going to be taken a break.

I want this event to be for regional purposes ( the usual cats ) while all the big names go to pound. Pound is going to be the biggest event this year and we should have all the players supporting that.


Sorry for all the issues I just need to be away for a few months.

I agree that Pound should be the priority event for OOSers who could only attend one, its going to be multiple days on a larger scale with a huge pot as opposed to just one day like this fine event. Pound has the potential to be the greatest Brawl tourny to date imo and I'm aiming to help it be just that O:

However this is going to be **** as well, people like Vinnie who legit can't go to Pound due to rl obligations will just **** here, Nexus all day sons.
