Well, now you're getting into the complicated things about egglay; a reason why I haven't been able to master it. You have the double jump properties, but then it breaks down into two different ways from there:Well, do you know how to switch between the reversal of direction and just the momentum change? I know with the B-reversal if you hit the control stick before you do the neutral B then you'll continue going the same direction and if you hit the control stick immediately afterwards then you'll reverse your momentum as well as turning around. With this, I'm doing both of them while hitting the control stick before the egg-lay so I don't know what separates the two other than possibly frame input.
Ok; I knew that was the case when you do a normal reversal (no double jump). I guess I assumed that I was wavebouncing while hitting the control stick beforehand so that's why I was confused. But I just tested it with the double jump thrown in there as well and I am inputting it after the egg lay.
When you wavebounce, you're slamming the control stick in the direction you want the momentum to go just after you inputted the egglay. For the reversal, you have to input the direction you want to turn, then input the egglay. Both get really hard and finessely technical when you need to do it really quick.
Yeah, defense has always been my weak point, but I really don't care about these matches. They were just friendlies and, if I remember correctly, DC forced me to use Yoshi or else he wouldn't play with me. I wanted to practice Diddy.Unlucky Polt.
Your offensive play was actually pretty good, you just need to be a bit more cautious, especially off edge.
Really have to remember that Yoshi is so vunerable off edge cos his primary recovery is his double jump.
But that looked like a fluky match to me, you are deffinatly better than the (as Meta mentioned) mediocre Kirby. You are the first Yoshi other than me who I've seen who makes use of jab canceling into Dtilt =), just try to remember that they can powershield it so you need to mix up jab cancels with Ftilt, DownB, Utilt and doing the full jab, that way they don't learn the timing and punish.
Just watch your defences more, don't chase the opponant when they can punish you for it. Running into good opponants with dash grabs and Usmashes doesn't work if you don't set them up for it.
Trust Meta to post the vid where you get screwed over lol.
Lol egg lay is not that complicated. You double jump in the direction you want to go and before pressing B you press the direction you want to face.Well, now you're getting into the complicated things about egglay; a reason why I haven't been able to master it. You have the double jump properties, but then it breaks down into two different ways from there:
Wavebouncing (changing momentum)
Reversal (just turning around and keeping momentum)

I don't "have it in" for anybody, I just like ****ing with people (especially people i know will take it too personally ;o)Yeah, defense has always been my weak point, but I really don't care about these matches. They were just friendlies and, if I remember correctly, DC forced me to use Yoshi or else he wouldn't play with me. I wanted to practice Diddy.
Don't understand why Metatitan has it in for me, though. Must be the Bellsprout.
Anyways, new videos of me vs. Serg! And these are tournament matches!
Poltergust vs. Bowser 1
Poltergust vs. Bowser 2
Poltergust vs. Bowser 3 (funniest edge-guard ever in the first stock, but I failed to follow through =P)
You're just jealous of our relationship! Bellsprout.
I use pretty much every use of egg lay I can think of, double jump canceled and no double jump at allfinessely technical. Have you mastered all the different ways egg lay can be used? If not, then you can't judge that it's not that simple unless you DO the simple ****.
Vs. Kismet:Some matches that I want a little critque. I get ***** in them so it's w/e.
