yeah i agree zero is top. i sometimes tell myself that marvel is all either about filling the screen w/ **** and not letting your opponent do anything, or using speed/priority/invincibility and not letting your opponent do anything. i think zero accomplishes the first one. his normals are almost like projectiles rofl they just eat everything.

i think also top are wesk and spencer.

then from there there's a bunch of good characters. but THIS IS MARVEL. we don't like good. we like broken.

she's really great, but lately i've been listening to magus' commentary that she gets hyped up too much. there are spots that she can't cover. idk though i don't know the commentary too well.

i've been hearing a lot that firebrand is mad good too. i haven't experienced it myself, what are some of the crazy stuff he can do??

I think Dorm might be ousted from a top spot. Like, bottom of high tiers or something like that.

I'm not saying he's bad by any stretch of the imagination, but everybody else is really kinda "stacking up." You know?

Firebrand has a lot of technology, I think. I think it was at Big 3 where ChrisG was showing off that neat little unblockable set-up that Firebrand has when the opposing character comes in off of a KO. That ****ty damage output of his is kind of a downer, though.

I wanna see some RR action. I really feel like that little furball can be EXTREMELY good if in the right hands.

His movement and mixup are ridiculous. He has an unblockable, a speedup super, a partner super that allows for loops (though you wont use it much). Only thing he's really missing is damage, but I'm sure some Firebrand innovator will come up with something.

chris' buffs are very welcome in this game. i had so much trouble keeping people out in vanilla, but he's good now and his matchup vs wesker which is SO FREAKING IMPORTANT is actually pretty decent. that prone chicken blocking is also very welcome

I think my team of RR/Frank/Chris is really good and well synergized but I need to take them to a inperson tournament first, I keep losing a **** load online because my inputs aren't coming out correctly online and I'm losing alot because of it. PW/Hulk/Ammy is my online team now, so much easier to use them.

But anyways, RR works really well with both Frank and Chris, use Chris's gunfire for mixup, and Frank gets to Level 4 or 5 becaues of Rock N Roll. My biggest trouble are characters that start the match right infront of RR's face and give him loads of pressure. Its hard when they do that because if I fall for one mixup, RR is dead and Level 1 Frank has to step in and deal with things.

Maybe if RR didn't have such darn low health he'd be alot better.

viper's combos are easy, her execution isn't the problem

it's the fact that you have to use a special move to do everything, her normals do not have good reach and you have to work around that somehow, seriously, her combo took me like 10 minutes to learn and it did 950k in vanilla, the one i have in ultimate ends at around 900k, her combos are simple

viper has that really stupid ex-seismo, builds a lot of meter and deals a lot of damage, can outzone pretty much anyone, her only weakness is air zoning (trish, zero, firebrand, DT dante) and vajra pretty much solves those issues

zero can kill thor in one combo using no meter, and it's completely viable (seriously....why can he do this?)

This is why I always use her heavy teleport instead of medium when dealing with him.

I've made a breakthrough with Strange, in that setting up three L Grace's to get the beam since it comes out REALLY ****ING FAST and crumples (on the ground) and soft knockdowns (in the air)

50/50 mixups, yeeeeeah. Currently using Strange/Nem/Hawkeye

EDIT: Lombardi's team set-up is pretty legit, but if you take out Wesker, it kind of falls apart. Don't get me wrong, though. Your Spider-Man's still good. Good games.
