yea i can help. I've done a bunch. You can take out the springs or cut them shorter to whatever you like.
The screws is the only annoying part since i dont have that tri-wing screwdriver :x

Its barely noticable, but i didn't like how close it was to the L/R button with no springs, so i just made the springs shorter. Its preference.
