All right so I'll post about events and groups here!

Every Friday in Gainesville there is a free smash 4 and melee tournament on campus at UF. Anyone is welcome to go.

Every Tuesday in Orlando there is a weekly tournament at Campus Cards and Games, not even five minutes from UCF Campus. Event pages are made frequently.

Every Monday in Kissimmee there's a weekly Smash 4 tournament at Eccentric Emporium. There is also a weekly melee tournament every Wednesday at Eccentric Emporium. Event pages are made frequently.

Hey FL Peeps,

I am working with an event in Orlando, FL called MegaCon (http://megaconvention.com/). For those of you that have not heard of it. Its a giant weekend Comic Con style convention (game room, actors, comics, cosplay, tattoo pavilion, etc). And yes there is a Smash Wii U 1v1 Tournament.

Weekend Passes to MegaCon are normally $70 but if anyone can bring a complete Smash 4 setup (system, cables, gamecube adapter, Smash 4 disc) to be used for the weekend I can line you up with a free weekend pass.

The convention itself will have staff/security and the guys that run the game room take full responsibility for your setup (and have yet to have anything go stolen or go missing since they started running these). Meaning your setup will be kept safe and returned to you Sunday. And should anything crazy happen you would be reimbursed.

The deadline to for me to get names in is Monday morning. So I need to know by 10 PM Sunday. I only have a few passes and need a few setups. So its first come, first serve. Shoot me a pm with your full name and email if you are interested in getting your hands on a free pass in exchange for bringing a setup. And the convention will get your badge made and the rest of the details out to you.

Hope this is the right place to post this. So basically I live in the Orlando area. I don't go to UCF and I'm not really looking to pay to enter games all the time, but is there a weekly thing where I can get together with people and play for fun (even if it's a tournament that's fine as long as there's free entry).
