lololol I love how everyone skipped over that. The guy had been posting melee and brawl top 10 lists, I'll let that slide but when he said this turned into melee only top ten I couldn't help but giggle.
I'm not sure anybody could replicate mango's...personality...on this forum.

Idk didn't he have somewhat of a disappointing performance at KoC? Like 7th or something? I know it was a stacked Cali tourney, but still it was basically just Cali
Westballz is good as ****, he beat axe at KoC and lost to like fly and PP (both arguably top 12 caliber players [well not arguable for PP of course])
that said he's not as good as PEW PEW ****ING YOU and doesn't get the rising star designation at apex

I was just saying like...in terms of how this in an international tournament and people are talking about how they expect him to be top 12 when he only got 7th at a tourney with only Cali + PP
Like...add Armada, Javi, Canada, and the rest of the US that didn't go to KoC and I would be surprised if Westballz DID make top 12

I didn't know losing to Fly and PP and taking 7th in a completely stacked tournament in the best region for ssbm on the planet would be disappointing.
That being said I'd be surprised too if westballz made it to top12 just because of the ridiculous player list of Apex 2013.

pretty tough standard where 7th is disappointing given the field. basically just cali, but various people who placed well at the last apex attended
edit: actually don't even know what place he finished, but i think he lost to pp/mango right? hardly a knock
nm fly/someone else. point is he's in a group of people w/a shot to place quite high
