Would this help me even if my wifi is beyond terrible? I'm afraid that CPUs have done near irrepearable damage to my playstlye, so I'm looking for some critique. I second falco if anybody wants to play mine but I'm not really one to judge lol.

I'd say wifi is definitely better. You learn a lot more.
If you don't have real life opponents you should practice on CPUs also.

CPUs make you terribly worse unless you are just beginning to play Smash overall.

Playing good people IRL is idea, but if all you have to play are scrubs or CPUs, just play wi-fi instead.

I love playing with Marth but we all know that Marth struggles online. Any advice or strategies for playing as Marth online that will increase my chances of winning online?

Hey anyone up for a brawl?

Im kinda stuck with my marth, im at my second plataeu hoping to find someone that could record match and post it on the critique me thread too. I also use Yoshi, Luigi, Fox, Ness and maybe a wario or mario if im bored.

Depends on the lag lol.
With horrendous lag I'm like "**** it" and spam stuff AKA "get creative". Sadly, most of it hits/works because lag sucks.
Marth can win wifi games if there's a good connection. It isn't impossible.
I don't know what you mean by strategy. You shouldn't play differently on wifi than in IRL, imo.

Speaking of wifi, Im pretty sure I quit wifi for good. IF I do play it, it will be with people I can learn from, and thats it. If other people want my help through wifi, I will use alternate characters (that I never use offline) to help train others, but no Marth AT ALL. Its way too different with Marth then any other character.

I played my friend offline yesterday and he ***** me. Its not me, its wifi and its hurting me where it counts so...yeah Im done ^_^

Ike is just evil on wifi

I play my friend in japan once in awhile and he mains ike, and hes Bad, like, i three stock him with every character only taking 60 damage unless i eat a f-smash bad, but theres 1.5 second delay, so he can just jab walk me to death, i shield, but i cant shield drop fast enough to punish him, and his fsmash is basically unpunishable he doesnt have as much lag as me cause japanese internetz is that much better, and it just makes me ragequit

I have to go like d3 and just chaingrab him across the stage (i basically buffer the whole thing because of the button delay) and that tends to work, lol

but yea, spring break just started so i have time to brawl if yall want to

Don't know how active this is but I wouldn't mind a match sometime between now and a couple of hours from now. Just a few rounds to see where I stand.

Hmm. Wifi with Marth. It gets annoying when your trying to fight, but I didn't know this thread only holds up a lot of marths fighting each other. I like to keep my marth in shape. Of course. Nice thread. I can fight with marth, but I'm going to say this. I'm just still working on him. I've managed to do a couple of tricks, but I'll have to come back here and hopefully maybe I can make a marth player happy around here. : D
