Sometimes it's the predictability of life that makes it so entertaining. ;D

I don't normally mind the cold but it's felt a lot worse lately. It was -4 in the morning and walking around lost in central London really sucks when there's icy wind everywhere!

On the bright side, it's snowing now :)

Man it's not the cold itself that makes England bad, I was in Hamburg once when it was like -15 and it barely bothered me as much as like 0 over here.

England just has this combination of damp and cold (plus wind) that chills you right down to your core. :(

But yeah at least it snowed!

Now if only all my local friends weren't out of London for uni. :/

All my friends are boring and refuse to have a snowball fight with me. I might just cover their windows in snowballs...

Yeah, the dampness and wind make it unbearable. Especially on long pathways that the wind finds its way on to. I'm from the north. When I first came to London I loved how warm it was down here. But these days, I'm not used to cold weather any more. Got an hour of walking around east London coming up. :c

I'm getting the most obnoxiously mixed signals from this girl I've been seeing for some months now.

Basically what it boils down to is that she talks to me a lot like she's interested, but never ever wants to spend any time together. She's even suggested several things that we should do, but always makes other plans with her friends instead of doing those things with me. I'm starting to feel like I'm wasting my time.

Blek, boyfriend is probably moving, so we decided to break it off. Pretty much incredibly sad. :l

Eventually, I will move on, or he will move back/not leave, or I will meet someone else, or I will be single and happy. The problem is, I'm at the eventually yet :/

Ho hum, The Unhappy thread, I wasn't gone long!

Housing and financial services haven't cleared me yet....despite the fact that I talked to them a few days ago about my plans for housing.

That means I can't schedule classes DESPITE having my **** together.

So salty.
I really want to make sure I have good classes ; ___ ;

I think my stress I was having last quarter stems to more than finals stress. My mental state has been iffy lately. I really feel like I'm in a rut. Going to see a counselor soon to see if I can figure out what's wrong
And, I might spend my summer quarter at home to take an internship and online classes. That'll be a much needed break from school....this place is suffocating

Girl, a gay guy once told me, only you know what you need. So if you need to take a break, you should take a break! No one knows what's best for you like you do. :3

Why is it relevant that a gay person told you this?
Like the United States of Tara once told me, it's the little deets that make a big diff.

In all seriousness though, it gives the person I was talking about a little more charater. It was my cousin, who happens to be gay, and a brunette, and a libra, but out of all those things, being gay gives him the most character. So I used that as the single description to him. Not relevant, just a little detail I added~

little deets, big diff.

deets, diff

It gave the cousin and the statement a lot of character xD

I'll try to be positive. Spring break in like...6 weeks. Plus, I am going home in 2 weeks (and will be going home every weekend during the end of Feb. into the first week of March loool)

I love being home. I can do nothing and still feel productive.
Maybe I'll go snowboarding and go to the new aquarium....or to the Metroparks and take my dog for a walk. And family time of course! Yayayayayyy <3

Arrive at hospital at 14:00 for appointment at 14:10.

15:30, actually get my appointment, which lasts under 5 minutes.
Ok I'm still raging about this.

Even worse was the fact that the doctor was worse at hiding his utter lack of knowledge on what to do than the last one. Waiting for this since the end of December, travel over 100 miles to the bigger hospital, then the doctor just throws me off to a new one because he's stumped. Now I have to wait for another letter for a different appointment with a different doctor.

Why can't anything be simple.

I once went to hospital in the morning and waited until 6pm and the doctor never showed up.

Thankfully Great Ormond Street had lots of N64s and Dreamcasts.

If it makes you feel better, the doctor probably felt terrible too.

Running late is the worst feeling. All the patients are pissed at you, your workload is piling up (people on the wards are probably calling) and you can't leave the clinic till you've seen everybody meaning you're going to be home very late.

I just assume my appointment will be 30 mins+ late when I see the doctor. I take my music and something to read. There's always one patient that screws the day up... >: (

Thing was he was just terrible. Didn't even ask me any questions, just told me he'll book an appointment in a different area with a different doctor for me, which means it was a waste of time. Plus it means my GP, the one that set up that meeting with him, also didn't know what to do or where to send me in the first place.

So basically my problem is so rare the doctors don't even know what to do. That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

It's possible you were referred to the wrong specialist rather than the doctor not knowing what to do? Eh, it sucks, but what can you do. :p

Hopefully the next doc sorts it out.

Welcome to the healthcare system my friend.

Except in Ireland, you are told to **** off unless you are dying and your appointment is in a couple of months time.

Well, you shouldn't be to scared to talk to new people here. A lot of the people on this site from what I've seen are really nice. ofc there still will be those people who don't talk to strangers, but those are everywhere. You don't need to be so shy :)

I'm a little unhappy that I have a bit of a sore throat before my mock SAT today. I guess it isn't too much of a problem though, I mostly hope this time that I have enough mental energy or will power to do the final critical reading section. The times before when I took the SAT I didn't have enough energy to focus at that point and I kinda enter that "Screw that" mode. I guess it's just a will power thing, I really have to pull through this time, because I end up not answering or attempting 9 questions to a passage which is no good.

Told my sister to take a shower because it's disgusting as she only takes one like once every 3 weeks. She's too lazy to wash anymore than that, which is terrible, I have to take one every day otherwise I just feel dirty.

Anyway she told me to get a job, despite the fact I've had one for 2 years. Thing is, there's nothing you can say to someone who tells you to get a job when you already have one, without making yourself lose IQ points.
