It's not even April in California yet. Dryn isn't the type to joke even in the spirit of a pseudoholiday. From my personal experience with him, he's just a plain ol' jerk killjoy.

Fortunately for the future of the Samus boards, the SWF staff has appointed me as the newest moderator (as indicated by my red name and awesomely truthful user title). I made my argument about why some social lulz are necessary to the boards to reduce hostility and promote a community identity as a collective of competitive gamers.. and they liked what they heard.

I hope everyone is as excited as I am to spam all the way to 2010.

Lol Straked this is a spam thread. current topic's don't really exist, it's just what we feel like talking about or getting off our chests ( which are un naturally hairy to show how many we are, except for hive, her chest is Larger than other females, solely due to us all maining samus)

There already was a Samus Social Group, but for the past few months, Darth Rancorous and I were pretty much the only ones posting in it. I think what the main problem is that Social Groups don't notify us when there's something new. =/

If there was a way to disable the post count in this thread, I think that would help solve the issue at hand so this thread wouldn't encourage random spam from various users, but serve as a stress reliever as intended. I personally don't see a problem with this thread, as long as it stays... somewhat Samus Board related and doesn't stray off to Pool Room stuff. If this is my place to even say anything.

Mods are still posting in the Friendly Neighborhood Tournament thread, which has been locked for a year I believe.

@ Dryn - I see your point. but this needs to be something all the mods do. Not just you. If other boards have threads, like the Tink person blurted out, they should be closed as well. Like the Mario boards. (No offense guys)

Hm... true. Well, we can always make another Samus Social Group and see what happens. Then maybe advertise the group in a locked sticky or something so people / newcomers / visitors know it's there? The one Luso made was invitation-only, so I don't know how often he gets online anymore to accept new members.
