Few tidbits gleaned from the #SonicMovie2 books released today:
• GUN stands for Guardian Units of Nations just as it does in the games
• Knuckles is the last of his kind

If there's one thing that Coco, Encanto and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet have all taught me, it's that people think all Spanish speaking countries are the same.

No, Pokemon fandom. Just because the new games take place in "Spain" doesn't mean we're getting a pokemon based of Quetzalquatl. Those two things have nothing to do with each other. Although it would still be insanely cool.

Devil's advocate here, Galar had a few references to former English colonies.
Obviously Copperajah is based on India, and I would be willing to attribute the large number of Unovan Pokemon with Galarian forms to how England owned the Northeastern USA. Based on that, I could see one or two Pokemon based on Spanish colonies making it in. I agree with your point on the whole, though.

They've been putting some content on HBO Max recently... such as two of the Muppets films (Muppets Take Manhattan and Muppets in Space).

In the past I saw the first two Stuart Little Films, Short Circuit 1 and the Live Action Madeline film there... so there's a lot of preexisting contracts...

Hopefully soon it will be on Disney+

Funimation, Wakanim, and VRV are all being merged with Crunchyroll.

For Funimation, all upcoming shows are now only on Crunchyroll (continuing series will continue to be added to Funimation)

Origin: Haitian mythology. Erzulie is a family of Loa that embody the love and beauty in Voodoo lore. They are associated with water and femininity, and therefore often are women or feminine and/or queer men. The most famous ones include Erzulie Freda, who is a vain and material goddess who fancies jewelry, perfume, and flowers; and Erzulie Dantó, a fierce and vengeful goddess who helps mothers go through hard times.

Next time, you will meet a demon of the Snake race.

It’s not much use to talk about which specific Erzulie her MegaTen version is supposed to represent. Honestly, her design may even be inspired by La Sirène/Mami Wata, a half-fish, half-woman goddess who is associated with Erzulie. Either way, I think this design isn’t half bad, it just lacks character for a pretty colorful and diverse family of deities. Her figure is an obvious nod to the fertility goddesses of the Middle East, which fits into the motherhood theme if you stretch it enough, I guess. Erzulie only appeared in a single game but they have some interesting connections with other demons. One of the husbands of Erzulie Freda is Ogun and Erzulie Danto is closely linked to one of the famous Black Marias in Poland.

So I watched Encanto for the first time with my partner last night.

We loved it. Every bit as good as everyone kept telling me, the songs were quite possibly the best of any Disney film ever made, and all in all I can't get it out of my head. Last time I watched something that got this into my head was CoCo.
