Fizz has been to a couple tournies, but I dont think Fonz, Champ or Smash64 have been active at all either.

And yeah, there are a lot of inactives on the PR. It'll leave a few free spots for people who deserve them for their recent results!

The only issue I could see is that Suyon is also barely active, I'm not sure of any tourneys besides OUGA: GtG3 that hes attended, though he played impressively [7/38] and even took out Quivo in bracket.

There really haven't been that many Ohio tournes this summer with MLG and summer stuff (Most players have more time to play during the school year than not.... or it seems like it).

If it were up to me, we wouldn't do a PR update until like October.

But yeah! It seems like a lot of Ohio'ians have been inactives. As for tournaments in Ohio, only ones I've seen were mine and Ougas. But a lot of Ohio'ians have been traveling to Indiana and Kentucky to compete as well.

Not even just beating Ohio players. If I beat someone like Renegade I hope I get up there even if he is Indiana. ;p But usually PR are based on who you beat in general. Gotta beat someone good!

@Sole: We do use IN and KY tournes as well, but we do need to look at how players stack up against each other as well (Suyon vs Q or BR vs Kel at OUGA). We like to look at how people do against the top 10 when determining if they should be HM.

@Today: Yes beating a player like Renegade does help, but we look more for consistency overall. OS has won more games against Blue Rogue, but Blue rogue consistently beats other players OS still struggles on. Hence why Blue is ranked higher (for now). Nope took down a lot of higher Ohio PRs at Showdown, but he hasn't been to many tournes where those people are.

Pretty much one tourne can't sum up what's going on.

They'll be more chances in the fall as well.

Btw, I didn't mean to sound like I was saying Suyon's not good enough to make the PR. He is, but I was also saying that half the PR is inactive as hell and new people are bout to step up if the Ohio Brawl community continues to thrive.

Suyon is one of the best Pits in the USA. Believe it. He was also the best placing Pit at MLG Columbus and his losses were to Anther and only Anther which he won a game or two against him as well.

I tried to tell people in that troll thread that's now locked "best of each character" but no one knows **** about who plays what character still and there is alot of regional bias. I might be biased toward a few people and regions because, well, it comes with the territory of creating the hype like I try to do.
Fact still stands, he's decent enough for at least HM and maybe even a top 10 spot, especially with the inactives we have and if he performs well at other tournies.

Same can be said about KB as well. Just insert Peach in place of Pit and remove the part about losing to Anther. Oh and I think Mikey outplaced him at MLG too but he's probably the best Peach (imo) so it doesn't matter.

@Kiest, Well yeah. I wasn't saying that me beating Renegade I better get #1, I'm just saying it's still looked at.

And the fact that next season will have about 5 inactives that literally leaves 5 spots there to be taken up on the PR and HM. And who are you going to put there exactly? The people who consistently places top 5 and goes to tournaments are the ones that are already active on the PR. I still travel but I always place 9th and 13 out of x entrants. Suyon beat Quivo; these things are probably going to have to be looked at next. Or at least I'd assume so.

@Jiffy, I really like Suyon and I do think he gets overlooked a lot.
But to be honest, this is the only tournament I've seen him out and placed/did this. I still do think though that Suyon should get a little recognition because of beating Q. (Which he probably will.)
I don't know how much MLG should count. No seeding, no pools, it was random bracket and cross your fingers you don't get someone extremely good. (In terms of placing that is.) But if Suyon like beat DEHF or something, awesome. That should be looked at. But I think people still look at MLG placing still.

Both Mikey and Nicole didn't get M2K (who lived 15 minutes away from me D: ) second round of winners at MLG, and Nicole got taken out by Mikey I believe. A lot of people got bracket ***** at those events so I kind of look more at who beat who there rather than overall placings. That's all I'll say on the matter. xD

I got 33rd at both MLGs. My losses were: DEHF, ESAM, Atomsk, MikeHAZE. =( Random people placed way higher than me.

Oh yeah, Power Rankings? Um, I can't beat Blue or Shugo. The end.

There was also Ichi-Kakuto-Gemu, but I'm surprised, I thought this season went back a bit further, how long does the season run for? Two Months?
