Swallowed my ego 2 weeks ago and said screw the haters idc if anyone thinks I'm the best or not and I want to **** everyone.

My play instantly became better because I got hungry to play the game and beat everyone just like I used to.

Basically being humbled and gettin hungry is too goodz
I put up this Einstein poster I've had since college with a bunch of his quotes on it in my cube at work recently. One of the quotes I've found most relevant is:

"The only way to escape the personal corruption of praise is to go on working."

While it's not on the same scale as your position, the way people congratulated me about the PR's (Adam in particular) really got into my head. Those words are meaningless if I do not continue to live up to it, so I've been relearning something dance games taught me, essentially, "hear what they say, be grateful, appreciate it for what it is, disregard it".

Compliments do not finish your matches, you do. The match is never over until their last stock is gone and the screen says "GAME".

It's not warriorism.. wtf. It's just warrior stuff to ME! For example, Mango knows all about it, I've heard him say things along the exact same things I would say but of course he doesn't call himself a warrior. He's incredibly smart. Being that is just a lifetime dream for ME, living it all day, all night. What more do I need really? Not much... =P
