Does anyone else believe in a "true main"? Like there was always that character that you were "supposed" to play as, even if you do switch and do other characters?

I feel like the way one learns and improves and plays with Marth is just more natural to me than Falco. For example, I absolutely LOVE the dash dance mechanic, but Falco's DD blows LOL. Marth's DD is great though!

Being able to plan out all my punishments and such in advance is far easier with Marth because of his huge range and throw setups. It's part of the reason M2K took him so far as well I think.

Marth and samus feel the most natural to me in terms of their movement options. I'm not very good with either, though.

My biggest weakpoint is by far setting up kills, both on and off the stage. This is why I do better with fox and sheik, because you don't have to set up kills as much with them.

Yeah I ask because
1) I went CF -> Sheik -> Marth -> CF -> Fox -> CF [and if you notice almost all of these characters play very similarly]
and 2) one of the people here played Falcon for a long time and was complaining about certain things, switched to Fox on a whim and realized that's who he wanted to play all this time [because of his ability to do those things CF couldn't]

And obviously you know this Kevin but
Falco has a DD
Not the same way
But the way he moves in and out is very similar
