What version of the Tweaker are you using?
Also, this thread just got stickied. About time.
Look at the date.green names?
ffffffffffffffffffLook at the date.
15Just as a question, why is the teching window in 3.3 only 10 frames compared to the 20 frames in Melee? Also, what will the teching window be in 4.0?
Out of curiosity, what is it that you see in auto jabs? I think the main reason they were dropped in the first place was because "they looked very odd" (or something along those lines) right? I personally dont see the need for reintroducing auto jabs again either. (I do admit though, that I used to use Falcon's to stop some projectiles and spin dashes a long time ago though lol).-no ad during tumble
-auto jab
that's all I really want![]()
Sorry, but I'm pretty sure those are going to be out. Majority prefers it that way. If you want, you can always just add it in on your own set after you download B+'s codeset.-no ad during tumble

I know the point of b+ is balance and all but there will always be a tier list and once you guys get that, find a way for bottom tiers to counter the top tiers like in 64 I think its a 4hit combo(2 death) from jiggs on pikachu. you guys won't ever achieve perfect balance but im positive you can create counter tactics.
I think a main reason why it was taken out was for accuracy. It takes the control away a little bit when you try to do jab combos by doing one extra jab or twoOut of curiosity, what is it that you see in auto jabs? Actually, the more I see people post, the more I think that there are more supporters for this code than I thought. I don't know where people get this "majority" from when I see support for the code popping up a lot. This code definitely should be readded and given a reason for why its added. The more you understand why something works the way it does, the more you appreciate it and realize that it is something positive to add. I hope it gets readded and that people really give it a chance instead of taking it off 10 minutes after you play because its weird. Its a no different adjustment than with hitstun and I adjusted after an hour and will never go back.I have no problems with NADDT either, though it seems that the majority prefers to keep it out of the main codesets.
I just wanted to bring up ONE other thing that I think is another reason why NADT and FF during tumble aren't in the set: freezes. Multiple people... no tons of people have complained about loads of freezing problems in Beta 3.3 and when they transfer over to 4.0, there aren't any freezes at all. Coincidence? I don't think so. I don't think NADT and FF during tumbling were the culprits though I guess, since you haven't complained about freezes yet, maybe it was that old tech code solution we were using as well? Let me give you an example of the freeze, hold on.kupo15 said:Actually, the more I see people post, the more I think that there are more supporters for this code than I thought. An accusation is still an accusation which is why I called you out on blaming NADT for the faults it didn't even create. I mean, I think there was a lot of freezes in sets that NADT was taken off.I was just saying kupo, that's all. I mean yeah I KNOW if there were freezes we could get it fixed but then it's put on the backburner like every other code that has yet to be fixed (though momentum was fixed recently for Sonic and teching was proven unfixable for Ganon)..
Fine. I'll give you the code set that includes the gravity changes as well so you get the full blown package. Does that sound good? Don't forget, you don't have to wiggle out. You can use and attack or jump and in MOST cases, these lead to no further punishment and resets the playing field to neutral. It isn't like some extra hitstun that extends combos indefinitely. It rewards excellent zoning and certain tactics and allows for tactics to work.Give me the set you're using with NADT and FF during tumble in a PM and I'll try it out later against some CPUs. I doubt I'll wiggle out though... I'll probably just FF and tech more often or something..
Calm down, he said he thinks it may have been due to NADT, but also possibly other things. An accusation is still an accusation which is why I called you out on blaming NADT for the faults it didn't even create. I mean, I think there was a lot of freezes in sets that NADT was taken off.
Its a little hard to be calm when it feels like someone is saying whatever necessary to not include something you feel is very important and using reasons that don't make any sense. If he wasn't sure, he never should have potentially tried to put the blame on the code.Calm down, he said he thinks it may have been due to NADT, but also possibly other things.
BTW, why don't you record some matches with G or someone using your codeset?
Its not finished yet. I'll let you know when it isWhat are the gravity changes? I'm curious to try them as well.
@Sketch: Didn't he say that he can't play with his friends all that often? Which sucks, btw.![]()
Awesome, didn't know so many people would be interested in trying it out. We tried one crazy method which took a week or more of testing and turned out to be really messy, so we are going to simplify things a bit. We are just starting to test things now. After we have that done, we still need to be able to adjust the recoveries that are gravity based like sonics and links. Its nice that several are not affected no matter how high its set to like gaw, falcon, ganon, peach, pika, spacies....Hey Kupo can you send me your code set too, either the txt or bin? I'm interested in seeing how the extra gravity plays.
AirdodgeCan someone explain what AD is? I've searched around but I figured it'd be best to reiterate what these terms are so that people that are ignorant (such as myself) can at least keep up with the conversation.
soon, very soonOkay, serious question, is there actually going to be a serious update, or is this just a huge AF joke and nothing more?
It's here, just not on this thread. Look through the Smash Workshop.I've been waiting for the last couple weeks to see a new set, and I almost blew a gasket, I was so excited that a new set was coming out today.....
O_o
Hopefully an actual set will come out in the next few days.
**cries**
naahhhh.... couldnt be. The plussery wouldnt do thatI'm pretty sure the codeset at http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=228396 is an April Fool's joke.
Yes, it will, unfortunately. We will be providing the codeset as the .gct and .bin files, as a premade sd package, and as just the .txt files for those who want to add textures and such to the set. Will the released 4.0 set have to be used by the snapshot method?
