hmmmm I just realized that having an animal as my avi immediately makes me look like a furry.... hmmm. You know what? screw that, Rabbit is awesome; I'm keeping him.

Furries are ****ing creepy. Anthro-animals have been in cartoons forever (Loony Toons), but furries take that **** to a level it should never go

I just thought you were a witty person with a bunny as his avi to be honest

Watch it now. Some of my best friends (dotcomrades AND IRL friends) are furries. I mean being a furry doesn't necessarily include yiff, so if that's what's freakin' you out about it, uhhh... don't... I guess ^_^

I LIKE furries... I'm just not one myself.

yay! Compliments ^_^

For anyone who cares, I present to you my history as a Peach main in the last few years.

2008 was my first year, I think I picked her up pretty nicely in a short period of time, most of it was wifi trolling but still worth a watch since they're hilarious.

2009 was by far my best year as a Peach player and as a player in general; my decision making and control were tight-knit and fearless, I knew when to box, retreat, when/how to pressure a shield well once I was inside, mix up recovery, reaction time was at its peak/could powershield just about anything, and I felt so comfortable in this character's shoes. My fundamental play was at its best and and I was actually reading and watching the opponent more than myself. Techs and everything like that were second nature, so no bit of thought was attributed to any of that, only the the match. *sigh* How I wish I could go back to that state of mind I had back then and build off of that the way I should have.

2010 was ****ing terrible, don't let anything you see fool you. The only good thing I did that year was beat Blue Rogue a couple of times and Malcolm in the beginning of that year. It all steadily went downhill after Pound 4 when I had taken on the task of learning way too many new things with Peach and tried to implement them all at once within my game, which kind of ***** my tight fundamental decision making and made me a little more hesitant in situations where my fearless demeanor from the previous year would have flourished. Some solid things were learned during 2010, but overall...placings stagnated, rank in my state's PR dropped, and the dreaded tournament "moxie" returned prior to every important match. Yeah...

2011, Metaknight da bess? Mahvel baybee? Bicycle kicks n' fatalities? I'm damn close.

Moral of the story: Don't let too many technical "improvements" or "tweaks" cloud your decision-making as a player. It's easy enough to overwhelm yourself while using this character, so if you plan on making any improvements...make them one step at a time, or it will more than likely turn into a big sloppy mess and you won't know what the hell to do in certain situations when you previously might have. I took the wrong path, and it resulted in utter stagnation and a failure to ever resolve my streaky tournament performances. Don't repeat my mistake, especially the fresher faces to the scene/character.

Is there anything wrong with enjoying media about antropomorphic animals? Not that I'm a fan, but that's what a furry is at the most basic level and I think it's unfair they get such a bad rap.

I've seen at least 10 different definitions for furry... I guess that could be what's causing the hangup.

I mean the most liberal definition I've heard applies it to ANYONE who is part of, or supports, the furry fandom in any way.

And the most restrictive I've heard is only those who actually believe that they are animal spirits trapped in human bodies.

Obviously the true dividing line is somewhere between those extremes.

My definition of a furry is someone believing they are an animal (or at least wanting to be an animal) or some sort of human-animal hybrid instead of what they actually are.

Anthro-art is just cartoons.
