He just went to a big tournament, but he's been gone for a while. I don't know if this means he's starting to play again or not.

In your own guys' personal experience, is trig or precal harder? I'm stuck on a math class to take next year. I don't really like math, specifically anything geometry related, but want to look impressive for college apps, blah blah blah. I want to take one, preferably one that has as little geometry as possible. Also, these classes aren't combined here. Ik some places have them combined but they aren't here for some reason. Precal is one whole course and trig is combined with discrete math.

I swear I've repeated this to so many people on AIM, etc. But yeah, opinions would be nice. :p

In trig, they shoot rabbits to figure out blood stain patterns and the angles of the blood splats to figure out at what angle people had been killed from.

Trigonometry isn't too scary... it's a big name for small stuff.

That said... I had a blast in precal cause it's really basic stuff. I'd say go with that, but
you'll probably deal with a bit of geometry in both. They aren't too hard though.

And as far as impressive in college applications... I'd say they both look good.

That's my 2 cents.

I would suggest trig for you air, precalc sounds like the assumption that you will be going into calculus next year, and trig is a requirement for that anyways.

The only two people I have filtered are Dajay and PG. I got tired of the sexuality spam and.... sheer stupidity

A Peach player I been helping out and all just called me their hero. I asked why and it was for alot of reasons I not expect anyone to say. I now feel a lil odd.

In class. This class sucks. Professor wants to carry out a study based on how all video games reinforce negative stereotypes. I keep saying it ain't true but the whole class
agrees with him. I need more gamers (real gamers, not Iplaycodblackops like a pro gamers) in class.

I know what you mean Slain. I did a whole 8 page essay on why that isn't true, and how people just want to pass the blame to something else. But, those who have that kind of thinking cannot have their mind changed.

I just insist they are criticizing what they don't understand, but I've had way too much of this. It's like saying the fact that peach uses a pink dress is a horrible thing. Yet criticizing the fact that their should be more standard females in brawl (I brought this up)

And I'm not saying pink is a standard thing... it's just an entire conundrum. I personally don't find it sexist at all, peach is a persona.

Also, half the cast ain't even human <_<.

Not all reinforce negative stereotypes. There are a bountiful amount of games that just present stories, stories which provide very profound character development.

I'll probably end up saying something simple like:

In Ocarina of Time Link only get's really far cause of Shiek, who happens to be the so called damsel in distress.

But you know, not all gamers live by insisting that war is cool and guns a blazing are what makes a game great.

Also, Peach is too bad *** to be considered a girly girl.

I see where you're coming from, many games do work like that, where if you look deeper into the game, you find that characters that often would be consider weak in this work (or inferior) tend to be extremely important and necessary for survival.

However, those are outliers.

While LoZ: OoT was a great game, it's outdone by games such as GTA4 and CoD; Black Ops sadly enough.

Because of that, you all are half right and half wrong imo. Some games use the stereotypes to 'better' the game, while some do not, and instead mix it up into an uplifting perspective.

I really hate it we as gamers are mixed in with those "OMFGBLACKOPSIZDASHIZ" people.
Well, they are all games; generally speaking we are all the same.

We play games

we like them for (insert reason here)

We connect with (game) players because of (insert reason here)

We disagree with other gamers because (insert reason here)

There are just different kinds of gamers lol.
