Anyone have any methods they feel works well for finding out tendancies quickly? I hate how it takes me like 30 matches before I finally understand how that person plays. I want to be able to tell sooner.

Just play more observantly? Try to observe and notice any habits your opponent performs regularly, always be aware of the options an opponent can do during any situation, and it's best to try to force your opponent in situations with little options (like a techchase).
