If I went alone to Japan, I would walk around (everywhere) and watch people while listening to music... because quite frankly, that's what I would enjoy the most out of anything else.

Actually, you can learn things without experiencing it. So basically, the answer to that question depends.

For example, I saved my own life from eating bad pizza, which I had no idea at first. I just gave a piece to my classmate and he got all disgusted. That's what makes me realize that it is bad.

Honestly while I wouldn't do the same, just going to a country and experiencing the atmosphere is something in itself, what you do afterwards to enhance your travelling experience is solely up to you.

It's because you probably aren't doing anything differently to what you normally do walking down a street at home.

That is what I find boring.

Going on holidays and doing the same thing you do all the time just seems like a waste.

For the record, everyone is judgmental to some extent. Respecting one's beliefs or views =/= an obligation to not state one's own disagreement with said views. The claim of "not respecting _______" can just as easily be reversed upon the accuser, in which case it all becomes one giant "blame game". If you'd rather not argue over trivial or subjective matters, that's fine, just say so. That should be the extent of it imo.

Although I'm much more like you than like Ill (I also like doing many (cultural) activies and enjoying the nightlife, although I wouldn't mind lying the whole beach either ), I couldn't disagree more with this. Observing people while watching music is not the same in Shibuya as it is on Les Champs-Elysées or on Broadway or past the Canals of Amsterdam or... well I could go on.
