The only skill Mango still needs to learn is to properly drunk-cancel.

all i know is if mango is still winning by then then there's just no point...if he even still plays by then. I think if he really cared he could keep winning for a long time.

In two years PP will be on top. He'll be pulling out combos dope enough to make Darkrain jealous.

As long as Hungrybox and Armada still have their ambition and drive then they'll continue to run through tournaments until they meet either each other or the other top 8 players. They're both very inventive with their characters and have such fluidity and control already. It really only opens more opportunity for even stronger mental game.

I feel like there will also be a breakout Marth player. Somebody like Pewpewu or Tai will just blow up.

Colbol will stop choking and be the best fox.

Axe will continue to rise. He does some really crazy stuff and who doesn't love the thought of a pikachu dominating tournaments?

East Coast will continue to be strong as a whole.
Europe will continue to be underrated.
And for the Midwest, well we'll continue to suck.

Not enough new players on the rise in that list.

Not enough mention of the south being the best region.

Not enough mention of WC not knowing anything about DI.

Sounds good otherwise =PPPPPPP

GDLK video. there is actually a local zelda/kirby team from my home, ill show them that vid hahah
<3 <3 <3

But yeah, it's currently...

1. Mango (when he feels like trying)
2. Hbox
3. Armada
4. M2k (even if he retires, he's still ****ing beast)
5. Amsah/ PP/ Axe/ Jman/ CalleW/ someone else who I'm not thinking of right now

Too hard to say who'll be top in 2-5 years though because there's no telling who's still gonna be playing by then

0. Tang
1. Mango
2. Hbox
3. Armada
4. M2K/Amsah
5. Dr. PP
6. Axe/SS/Shiz/Zhu
10. Axe/SS/Wobbles/Jman/Hax/other people

How are we rating this? Yes, Hbox beat Armada pretty badly 1 on 1, but are we just talking straight player matchups, or whoever is the most consistently high-placing against everyone?

Although Hbox might not be a good example, because he does beat Armada a lot, AND everyone else.

Someone tell Jeff to play in more tournaments outside California, cause when he travels outside he always does really well against EVERYONE

Axe, Hugs, BO10, Zhu and Carl are my top 5 fave as far as being top/former top/future top players.

Heard great things about a few ECers, I'll know by the end of the weekend I guess. :/

I'm the best in the world btw

Currently:

1. Mango
2. HBox
3. Armada
4. M2k/Amsah
5. Amsah/M2k

In two years I see both Mango and M2k retiring for good...
I cant really see any players that will challenge top 5 besides Axe and Dr. PP. They seem to be the only two players that are really improving faster than anyone else.

I dont like threads like these because they are biased and there is no way to tell how good someone is from another area that hasnt competed with us and over there can say the same essentially you can only do top in your own area thats the way i see it for all we know a Australian could be the best

Yeah because Armada and Amsah have never played in North America.

Also Mew2King went to Australia and ***** everyone with Peach and Mewtwo. So that area's done as far as knowing what's out there.

yea probably

I say possibly axe, dr pp, shroomed, and some unknown smasher who will quickly rise to fame.
Rayku, Str1ck3n or Jesiah are my bets. The Zeldas (Lake and Cosmo) will start breaking into National brackets.

Hax's falcon is gonna be a BEAST by then
This. If he could stay in Winners' Bracket for as long as he does in Losers' he'd be ****.

Genesis:
Winners' bracket
Defeated Eggz
Lost to Lovage

Losers' bracket
Defeated Eval
Defeated Bladewise
Defeated Taj
Defeated Kira
Defeated Kage
Defeated Tope
Defeated Raistlin
Lost to Zhu

Overall placing: 7/126

ROM2:
Winners' bracket
Defeated vwins
Lost to Hungrybox

Losers' bracket
Defeated DJ Nintendo
Defeated Linguini
Defeated Eggm
Lost to Darc

Overall placing: 7/32

Pound 4:
Winners' bracket
Bye
Defeated Unknown522
Lost to Hbox

Losers' bracket
Defeated Pc Chris
Lost to Armada

Overall placing: 13/48

Apex 2010:
Winners' bracket
Lost to IB

Losers' bracket
Bye
Defeated Warriorknight
Defeated Th0rn
Defeated Silent Wolf
Defeated Chudat
Lost to Zhu

Overall placing: 9/48

He's never beat more than one person in Winners', but almost always makes top 10.
