Remeber, the only top level Sheiks at Apex were M2K and..... that's it (Tope had controller issues). You can see how this affected the rest of the bracket as IB and Hax didn't run into any Sheiks either.

What Sheiks has Axe beaten? And if single match-ups don't matter, wouldn't that mean you can exclude Armada vs Jigglypuff, making him the best player in the world? =/

You also have to consider that Jman and DrPP (as well as the other spacies) don't know the Pikachu match-up fluently. Clearly, Axe is a high calliber player, but by no means in the top 10 area.

No johns for Jman. He lost at Genesis and then between that and Apex he had plenty of videos to study of Forward making Axe look silly(sorry Jeff if you read this but it's true >_>) and use them as a way to prepare for if he had to fight Axe again. He did have to and he STILL lost. Obviously Axe is doing something right if he can overcome his character hurdle because Foxes who can beat Axe(Forward) can do it badly, so it's just as hard for Axe as it is for Jman.

Also, Axe has never faced a Sheik in tournament bracket at a major tournament to know, Armada on the other hand has faced the good Puffs. I'm 95% sure Axe would beat Tope,Tec0,Plank with Falco.

I like how you're just judging his skill level off of nothing. You have no information to prove otherwise and if there's nothing to prove otherwise then the best conclusion based on recent results is that he IS top 10. How is it his fault if 95% of players are spacies? Study videos. Figure things out. Players have this cushion of videos to be able to watch for tips yet most the time when they do they still lose.

I like how some people had a big discussion about m2k/ Amsah and when someone said Amsah above m2k it was like that CAN´T be true.

But when someone put M2k above Amsah it was like normal.
Ok America have a bigger (and better) community than Europe BUT the top players is good and i guess Pound 4 results (and matches) show that.

And like someone said (i think it was Luma) maybe its time for Americans to attend a tournament in Europe.

Saying Amsah haven´t attend a tournament in USA since Pound 4 and maybe dosen´t deserve a spot in the absolute top is ********.

Because a top player (like one of the best) from America have NEVER attend a tournament i Europe so they haven´t prove their skills in Europe.

That´s kind of stupid way to thinking.

This is a great point. But something you implied but didn't outright mention is that knowing match ups is a factor when it comes to skill level. Jman could be one of the best player in the world when it comes to fighting other spacies but if he loses to all the lower tier mains then in the grand scheme of things he simply isn't that great. It is the player's responsibility to know the matchups, the fact that Jman doesn't know the Pikachu matchup(if that is indeed the case) means that he is simply lacking in that particular skill area and that should be factored when we try to deduce where he places among the best players. And this logic applies to all of the top players

Hbox = opposite of Mango in the sense that his play style can be considered "gay" (I actually like it a lot) but he's cool himself

M2K should prove himself in a tourney, his FB bio says he's ranked no 1 in both melee and brawl -_-

Armada, although I'm a random person and my opinion doesn't really matter, I am one of the people who definitely doesn't put M2K above Amsah right away. IMO Amsah has a better Sheik (doesn't rely on CG), but M2K's Marth is also really good. I want to see M2K's Marth vs Amsah's Sheik

In my list, I put the people I'm not sure about in more than one spot. Axe sorta took the community by storm, and I dunno if we can judge him yet. He's sick tho regardless



WTF about Jeff? I want people's opinions on him. I see him play and I realize he's just so good in his judgment, and he never gets destroyed (I've seen him get 3 stocked by Armada and 3 stocked by Mango once, and he beat Mango's puff) but it's so hard to judge him cause he never posts and never goes to tourneys...

second best in the world at ssb64, best player on WC canada for Brawl (has never gotten any placing but 1st since the release lmfao) and is the best player in our province at melee.

Very few people i look at and say wow he's amazing.

Mango (look at his spacing)
hungrybox ( he uses the invisibility from rest to punish grabs he knows are coming and is very smart over all),
dr.pp (so smart, and amazing spacing)

might put dr.pp also in the almost list though.

those are just a few that come to my head, would count m2k but he only knows play styles and characters when something new comes or out smarts him then he loses easily.

and on the list of players that could get there that list is pretty long.

then there is the list of people who are good.

wobbles is on my list for being good and almost great, what makes him where he is bad judgments on easy things , missed tech skill, and bad timing.

but i believe most of these problems can't be fixed

also his rage meter and emo levels , they make him bad, rob get my alcohol in you <3
