yes Melee will live on forever. now can you guys get off the topic of what's the deepest/toughest/best game. In the general melee boards, only talk about melee. that also means that you guys should stop saying things like "Brawl will suck", or "Brawl will have different Tier lists". if your not going to talk about the tier list, at least talk about melee.

It's impossible to make a 100% accurate comparison between the characters from both games since the games are different.

However, I feel that some of them are really accurate... Like Fox/Yun, Marth/Chun, Ness/Twelve, lol

Falco = Akuma in terms of how they are used and thier weaknesses and strengths.

I don't think Smash is the deepest, but it's definitely one of the hardest to get good at and win wournies at.

Yeah Falco would be a much better fit for Akuma...

EDIT: Why Peach = Makoto...

- Make one mistake = wtf, where did all that damage come from?
- Strike/Grab Mixups after blocked hit
- both are bull**** chars

lol some comparisons are simply harder to make... but I bet that every1 agrees with the comparisons made for the top 3

Defining "deep" is difficult to do in a way where everyone agrees, but I will say that Smash's freedom of movement puts it miles above other fighters. I cannot stand games where the two fighters just stare at each other. Those are so boring to me now. In smash, I can do whatever I want. I approach from any angle, use any move, etc.

To be honest, I hate Tekken. And SF. And Fatal Fury. And almost every non-smash game that I didn't make with Mugen out there.

I can stand Guilty Gear.

Kaabi!!! They both have potentially good moves with screwed up hitboxes... and they both have unsafe moves on HIT.

Why Sheik = Ken...

- They both can combo their grandmas into Fair/SA3
- They make scrubs look very good
- They both do whatever the **** they want

I see what you mean... there's alot of Marvel players that think the same of SF.

If you want more mobility in a fighter go for Marvel or GGXX.

And SF2 was the only other fighting game I spent any period of time playing... And I can definitely say that I like Smash better...

So does anyone know if they will be making a new smash tier before brawl is released? If they do I hope to see Marth higher on the list. The 2 best smashers to dominate the scene have both been Marth mains.

why must everyone get so hype over the teir list
i simply disregard it
its only saying how good these players are or the players
its not telling you you'll only be this good with this character or alot better with this one
if you have a good mindset then you can be as good as any marth of falco player
