theoretically u can the best with any character with proper spacing and tech skill. and who knows, someone might think of a strategy that has yoshi easily whooping everybody off the stage. it's not likely but u never know.

Why is roy not bottom, zelda & bowser are better then roy. >.<

Zelda cannot combo. Roy is way faster than Bowser.

whose the crappiest character and whose the best?
for the best i'd say marth... even though i'm a falco and i hate him, but he has superior range/grabbing to a lot of people, you can switch from his sweetspot to the middle of his sword for good set-ups, his edgeguard is beast, he has chain grabs, and he has good recovery, and he's asian ... i thin ken showed already how much marth dominates in his ssbm career... also, mew2king is #1 in chillindude's power ranking, and m2k is a marth now... in the power ranking its always a marth in #1 and quite often a marth in #2 also...
worst character IMO kirby.... anyone else agree? his/her/its recovery is good but predictable.... i find kiryby very very easy to edgeguard/shinespike/spike a kirby, and also he can be killed vertically easily.... you can spam your way out of his/her/its grabs , and he has crappy range.... IMO only thing he's good for is pissing off falco's when he sucks them and gets a mohawk+beak thn flys around.....

Does it matter who's better between Roy and Bowser... they're both pretty terrible characters.
Bowser is pretty hax, I mean if you got a good one you can surprise even the best players once or twice, and it actually makes for a reasonably fair match, save against Jiggs and Marth (and maybe some others that don't JUMP OUT at me) but Roy is just full of suck, poor guy =/

M2 is not the worst character in the game.

That character should be bumped up to at least the 2nd worst character in the game. Argue me if you want, he's better than Pichu.

The surprise factor doesn't attribute to a characters meta-game.. eventually they catch on to your character, and once the surprise factor is over.. they can **** either of the two characters. Trust me I play Bowser and i can play fairly well, the surprise factor is over for me, and i need to play a lot smarter now to get wins against better players.
Taj is just a really great player, this example has been used 3 trillion times, the same answer is given every time... Mewtwo wouldn't get moved up because he is still really floaty and lacks approaches.

What some people don't understand is that just because one person is really good with a character doesn't mean that the character should be moved up a lot on the tier list. Yes, Mewtwo is still a very floaty and comboable character despite Taj's amazingness. Bowser is still slow and a big target despite Gimpy amazingness. etc etc

roy is way better then bowser no doubt. i'm use roy for fun (i main falco and sub in IC's), and i find him decent against fast fallers.. he can out-range bowser and roy is basically a more powerful yet less ranged marth with faster SHFFL applications.

IMO marth should be #1 even though i'm falco/IC.... cuz a fox l canceling and waveshining like crazy equals a marth chilling with grabs and long range... plus all the top players, m2k and ken for example, main marth or have one to fall back on
Roy is terrible against fast fallers.. just because D-tilt F-smash works doesn't mean jack if he can't get them with it.
Roy is definitely not WAY better then anyone he's above save the crap 3 Kirb, Mewtwo, Pichu

My favorite arguments are the ones that revolve around, "I play Link, and I never lose to Fox!" Translation: "No one I play is any good." Seriously, if you want to change the tier list, go win huge tournaments. Otherwise, accept them for what they are.

M3D even stated that the debate is fruitless at this point. We have our tournament-winning characters (roughly the top 8). Why bicker about which one is slightly above the other? They all win competitions! It's about the players at that point, not the characters.

That will piss gimpy off.
Purin being above Samus and IC made me confused the most. I know Japanese players only play on DL64 and FD, therefore, stages where Purin can live for awhile...but same goes for Samus and FD is like, a stage most players (*thinking of those who don't use characters that are good against ICs*) ban against IC.
THEN AGAIN...I haven't heard of a good Japanese IC (there may be one...but he/she doesn't seem to be well known) and the best Samus in Japan dodges by rolling lol

Kei is the only Japanese IC I've heard of and seen play. Then again, he does use Peach a lot these days, and iirc his IC was 3-0'd by Captain Jack's Zelda in a best of five tourney set >___>
