Okay here's a remake of my list, JPN style:

S: Fox, Marth

A+: Sheik, Falco
A: Peach

B+: Ice Climbers, Captain Falcon
B: Samus
B-: Jigglypuff

C+: Doc, Ganondorf
C: Mario

D+: Luigi
D: Link, Donkey Kong

Like in the US grade system (I think) everything under D fails and we shouldn't bother with them...

F: everybody else

I'm not sold on Link being above garbage, but Bum seems to pretty convincingly show that DK is above the line of trash...

Works for me although I think Jiggs and Samus should trade places maybe, jiggly can be a monstrous character, we dont have enough people that play her. Seriously though a 1 frame instant death move and an insane recovery with imense gimping makes for a pretty deadly character. Either way samus and jiggs are close and rankings within tiers are fairly impractical.

The rest isn't always instant death, and if you miss...lol most punishable move ever.

Also they both have ridiculous recoveries but I'll give Jiggly the point in the gimping category. Samus can gimp but nothing like Jiggly.

Here's all the characters and I'll write if I want them higher or lower or OK.

Mario: OK.
Bowser: Lower (In between Pichu and Mewtwo)
Pikachu: OK.
Peach: OK.
Yoshi: Lower. (In between G&W and Ness)
DK: OK.
Captain Falcon: OK.
Fox: Lower. (Somewhere in High)
Ness: OK
Ice Climbers: Higher. (Somewhere in Top)
Kirby: OK.
Samus: Lower. (In between Link and Luigi)
Zelda: OK.
Link: Lower. (In between Roy and Pika)
Dr. Mario: OK.
Luigi: OK.
Ganondorf: OK.
Falco: OK.
Young Link: OK.
Pichu: OK.
Jigglypuff: Higher. (Somewhere in High)
Mewtwo: OK.
G&W: Higher. (Below Pika)
Marth: OK.
Roy: Higher. (Somewhere in Middle)

Explanation:
Bowser: He's too slow.
Yoshi: I don't know why people think he's so good. He's got no triple jump! Lame.
Fox: He falls too fast.
Ice Climbers: I don't see why people think they're horrible. They're a team! That's what makes them powerful.
Samus: Too weak for me. And she also has a slow roll.
Link: Same as Samus except for the slow roll.
Jigglypuff: Down+B is a Killer Move.
G&W: I don't think he's that bad. His hammer move can kill in 1 hit if the number is a 9.
Pichu and Mewtwo: They're 100% in the right position as they are horrible characters.

This tier list is SO wrong in many ways.

1. Luigi should be at the top of the middle tier.
2. Link should be in the middle tier right above Ganondorf
3. Ice climbers should go one place lower
4. Captain Falcon should be in the high tier
5. Mario should be up one place on the tier list
6. Falco should be higher than fox with Fox right behind him

This is just my own opinion

If these tier list are all based off tourneys...
Couldn't it just mean that more people play as one player than the others?
I mean if all the best players pick Fox, he'll be higher than Dr. Mario....
But if good people decide to use Doc....he could move higher than Fox.

Or am I completely missing something?

It's hard to say one character is better against another...when it really only matters on the player right?

EDIT to answer post above:

"All the good players" won't decide to choose doc over fox because then they'll lose to equally skilled players who pick fox. Fox is simply a better character. One top player playing fox will beat legions of doc players and win the tourney, so it wouldn't matter how many docs there were.

The best players play who they think can be utilized best to win right? If the best player thought they could win more easily with doctor mario they would play doctor mario. That is why you see more foxes than doctor marios.

Ok i'm not trying to sound dumb, I'm just wondering....and trying to figure this tier list out.

It seems like it all just depends on the player...what they do, and how they play.

I can understand how some characters are stronger or faster than others....but couldnt a really good player figure out how to get good with each one?

There is a limit to how much can be done with each character. Fox happens to be one of those characters with a much higher limit than, say, Mewtwo.

I'm all for Mewtwo as the lowest tier, as Pichu isn't that bad; he's just a clone of Pikachu that's a bit faster, weaker, and gets hurt everytime he uses electicity or a B move. Mewtwo's just a paperweight compared to him.
