lawlz we should do a dallas melee ranking, i think there's as many consistent tourny goers as brawl, just not as many random nubz that show up. i don't really care either way.

SA's Melee scene has always been dead, or sort of a living undead at the best of times. There is indeed an active Melee scene in TX...but let's just say it's cozier than pre-Brawl. We had an almost spur-of-the-moment tournament last saturday and it attracted Houston, Austin, and Oklahoma.

I don't think we need a PR though.

We have players that enjoy playing Melee,

like all the UTSA people, myself, v-town (gore, essence, fletcher) caveman, smiles, taylor and dyse, Nike20, and Alex19......

just most of them don't want to risk their money on tournaments or can't attend due to work.

It's gonna take Final Smash 5 to get them all to come out.

you never travel out of houston, so you really don't have a grasp of the skill of other players around TX. we already have houston panelist anyway, plus you are extremly biased towards houston players. -_- i still love you so much though, don't get that twisted. <3

How am i biased?

Cookie cutting the ruleset to meet your main character's strengths and weaknesses is a perfect example as to why your biased.

You quote "i managed to play M2k on wifi. heres our match. its obvious how it went. he smeta and im samus.......not fun at all. another reason why i will ban meta." as a joke post or something semi-serious; the point is that you really want to ban metaknight. The character is not broken or ban-worthy in any sense. I used to be like you, thinking "oh well this character has an advantageous moveset over everyone." As I got better and played tougher competition; I've learned that MK is nothing shy of broken.

There are plenty of characters that go close to even against MK. Back in the day, I simply haven't fought enough good players using those characters to make me believe MK should NOT be banned. However, as I play more and more players with equal or better skill than me. I see that there are several characters that go 6:4 with MK.

I'm sure that you would probably state that "omg 6:4 matchup against every1 BROKEN!". No. Almost every fighter game revolves around 6:4 matchups. The only fighter that I see NOT being 6:4 is King of Fighters and SVC Chaos. You need to get over the fact that your character is bad. Everybody knows that you are a good player. You don't need to rub it in their face every few tournaments when you happen to beat them in a set with a bad character. Let your skills be known and use somebody who doesn't get hard countered very often. There are about 12 tourny viable characters in brawl. Let PLAYER SKILL be the deciding factor and not matchup imbalances. I wouldn't be beating d3's online with luigi if player skill wasn't a factor in the matchup.

I don't understand what makes you think that. I've played just as much as you have, in both games. You've ran more tournaments and such, but i'm a stronger fighter in pretty much every aspect.

Yeah we either Ditto or one of us get's CP'd pretty easy (Snake vs G&W, Diddy vs G&W, Falco vs Snake, G&W vs Falco, and so on). Safest choice for both of us was usually G&W so we did like 8 or so G&W dittos for Winners and Grand Finals lol.

And I didn't drop Wario, I just didn't wanna get CP'd by you if I picked him lol.

Me and Dojo split at Centex, so I guess technically we both won but I let him have 1st. I REALLY appreciate you putting me above him because that's like an awesome compliment to me, but I don't personally think I'm quite there yet. I'm really farking close though
