I think it went something like:

Metal claw....or more like spikes

Quick attack

Force palm without the force

Feint to fool the opponents into defending

Metal sound by striking both spikes....but would also affect lucario because he is not sound proof.

And close combat

And detect because of his reflexes



And because of the Mewtwo MU, unless Lucario has a trainer he won't be able to learn attacks other than the ones learned naturaly.

On up through page 44 DB threw out move names and Paya just considered it realism or not...but the moveset was never solidified...

Got a small break from my work.


His girth will reduce the damage done against him, will reduce recoil, will make him harder to fall and will make his attacks do a lot more damage.

But unlike the Sonic MU Lucario does benefit a from this too considering he still can damage wario, Wario's girth will make im an easier target to hit and Wario's girth gives Lucario the advantage in the speed department.


In other words, it is not so much that Wario's Girth works aginst him, but that his girth does not completely screw up his opponent.

We are limiting him to realistic moves he can learn by leveling up, with realistic consecuences for using them.

(E.G: He will be able to use metal sound by striking his spikes to confuse Wario, but he too would get confused because he is not sound proof)

He can still use 4+ moves.

That's even better than martial arts! He can prevent being hit by seeing what Wario is thinking of doing, as well as reading his movements, which means he has some serious reaction speed! Even a martial arts style like Aikido (or a Lucario derivative of a go-with-the-flow fighting style) can have its purposes here, he can set them up easily!

I've been reading back and this is not as unrealistic as you might think,
Kung-Fu masters are able to fight blindfolded and be able to block, and attack their opponent, even if their eyes are covered

Lucario is a fighting Pokemon that hit's hard and obviously knows how to fight. Wario just has brute strength working for him. When it comes to martial arts, even the smallest of foes can easily defeat a large rival.
