And yet Pro Evolution Soccer isn't? *remembers Goose is actually really white* Never mind....
But dude, did the players in Pro Evolution have Dustman's broken special move? I didn't think so.

Also, when were you coming here? And do you have an October break?
I'll be following my typical schedule with regards to arriving and leaving. I have a Fall break, but it's not for like another three weeks. O_o

On that note, who exactly is up for hanging out on Friday night?

lol carl just says random stuff sometimes and its so easy to make fun of him...
"The hokey pokey is so broken!" -- Carl

I'd have to disagree with ya, George

Well, it got "internationalized" into Pro Evo eventually. I still remember the fond days of Winning Eleven, trust me!

Also, according to this girl from Kouts in my Spanish class, Kirk was known as some sort of super-genius over there.

hey lol i figured out how to square numbers like 206 now using the thing i posted earlier

look using the thing i showed earlier you know that 106^2 = 11236

now look at 1 12 and 36 as 3 parts of the problem

now if you try to square 206 take 2 (the first digit)^2 times the 1
then take 2^1 times the 12
then 2^0 times the 36

so
the answer is
4 24 36.....42436

now lets do another example

307^2

107^2 = 11449

so take

3^2(1)
3^1(14)
3^0(49)

9 42 49
94249

kool huh?

Sooooo I think I will be. That show got cancelled so i think im gunna be coming back down with you on friday night after bowling.
That's good.

However, whoever has the lower bowling score that night has to drive down.

Friday morning/afternoon at my place, then! 9:30 to 3:10 as per usual!
OMFG, what kinda janky-*** quitting time is that!?

Wait.....Who's gonna be there, if anybody?
LOL

Also, according to this girl from Kouts in my Spanish class, Kirk was known as some sort of super-genius over there.
Heh, a while back I met a guy who went to Kouts a few years ago and I asked him if he knew Kirk. He said ya and was like, "that kid LOVED video games."

Who?

10whos
Ohhhhh man!

psh there are like 600 people that live in kouts...it couldnt be hard :p
Ohhhhh man!

Also, my mom got that stupid candy corn that she always buys around this time of year. That stuff tastes like total trash, but I haven't been able to stop eating them since I've gotten home. It's pissin' me off.

coolios!

i am too lazy to try at the moment, but
does it work for some other numbers with other digit beside 0 in the middle?

yah it does here is 2 examples

73^2
73 is 27 away from 100, so subtract another 27 from it (46)
now square the 27 = (729)

now look at it like 46
.......................729
and add down
so your new number is 5329

example 2: 115 squard
is is 15 more than base 100, so you add another 15 to it (130)
now square 15, i will show you another trick i use to multiply numbers that have both the same number in the 10's place, and the numbers in the ones place add up to 10, so 15 and 15 both have a 1 at the beginning, and 5 + 5 = 10, now just take 1 times the next integer after it (2), then tack on 5 x 5 to the end of that

2....25 (225)

it works for numbers like 77 and 73 also

7(8) =56
and 7(3)=21
so answer is 5621

ok back to the original problem lol 15 is 225, so now you look at it like

...........130
..............225
add down, so your answer is 13225

lol at school i challenge people to race me w/ a calculator, and i dont have one, then someone gives us a number between 90-110 (we square it) and i get the answer b4 them lol

Somebody knows what they're talking about! Awesome!

It saddens me that Nedved retired recently.

73^2 = 73*70 + 73*3 = 70*70 + 3*70 + 73*3 = 4900 + 210 + 219

115^2 = 115*100 + 115*15 = 115*100+ 115*10 + 115*5 = 11500 + 1150 + 575

Learn to distribute. I can usually do this in my head if I can store all the numbers.

Something fancier, cube rooting a 6 digit number known to cube root to a whole number.

note the following

1^3 = 1
2^3 = 8
3^3 = 27
4^3 = 64
5^3 = 125
6^3 = 216
7^3 = 343
8^3 = 512
9^3 = 729

example 373248.

Take the first three digits. note that 7^3 < 373 < 8^3. This tells us that the number is between 70 and 80. Now note that the last digit is 8. This tells us that the ones digit of the number has to be 2, because 2^3 results in a number ending in 8. Answer = 72

Similar effects can be made in other cases as long as you consider numerically what is occurring.

I probably took Voorhese's math class 7 years ago.

i would be in AP calc if i cared about school before highschool, im in pre-calc now, but its really easy, so that really doesnt show how good/bad i am at math

thats also pretty neat kirk

edit: the way you showed how to square numbers, is the way i do normally, but in the condition of say 109^2 its much easier to follow the trick i posted

and i didnt learn this in math class, so my math class is unrelated?

winning eleven/Pro evolution soccer has been the game that Fifa has trying to be for years.
while fifa is more arcadey and emphasizes quick gameplay and goals, W11/PES is a deep soccer simulator.
idk apparently lately fifa has stepped its game up while W11/PES has been more of the same..
idk i'll have to try it.

You guys wanna know something? When I was little and played pokemon, my friends told me you could catch Charmander in the safari zone. They made me believe this for a really long time. I never did find him tho...

Get rolled George.

As for JAB2, I have no idea what Tony and Alan are working on, so...I might just go ahead and rent out the big convention room over near 65.

I tried to talk to Anthony or Alan tdoay.
Anthony had an exam so he was busy.. he didn't say anything about JAB2 >_> bad part right there.

Alan was busy with something (assuming his work), yet he told me few things.

Alan mentioned that he and Anthony will discuss it over the fall break.

They aren't sure when would be good,
but they have a possibility of pushing JAB 2 to next semester.. >_>

GA crew wants it in On Oct 24th or Nov 7th.

Nov 21st and Dec 5 are not good for us.
at least for me.
I have Finals in Dec 7 ~ 11th. So Dec 5 is just out of consideration.
in the week of Nov 21st and after, I have last exams for my classes. Therefore No.

I suggest Oct 24th for JAB 2.

why would they push it back to next semester...the midwest needs tournaments right now and both regionals we had last year were very successful.

Well there is a serious lack of communication on Anthony and Alans part, I for one would really like that tournament. If you guys need help doing anything, let us know! We want to help. But don't just leave us in the dark. I mean I think something would have been decided by now.

We will address the situation as soon as is feasible. To be quite blunt, I have had three exams, three homework assignments, multiple meetings, and a couple of shifts in the pharmacy this week, so you will excuse me, I hope, if this is not the foremost thought in my mind.
