so so so so i just came back from my FIRST OOS tournament! pretty dang fun! i just wish i had the results right now, i need to get them from sk92.

it was sooo fun! i actually got to meet kinzer! he was so awesome and he gave away FREE DONUTS!!!!!!

i ate like... 6 hahahah!

no one really wanted any... but anyways, thanks again KINZER!!

i have a lot to talk about.... i just can't remember anything right now... :/

Kind of a dissapointing tournament, 6 players who normally end up top 8 werent there from a whole range of problems such as the extreme heat wave here at the moment (consoles freezing up + transport being a nightmare) a big concert festival and a birthday party lol. Something the guy who got second (Jamage) told me seemed to be so true. We both play like crap vs lesser skilled opponents but vs better people we really step it up. My sonic had some trouble with a massively improved marth player in the first round but I felt the lack of experience among all other players hurt my performance. Taken to my last stock twice by a lucario who roll dodged liked crazy and I did pretty meh vs 2nd place's wolf in the grand finals. My Sonic did far better vs his fox in winners finals which wasnt recorded So another slightly dissapointing effort by my sonic but I do think I play my best vs really good people, playing my way through the brackets through a whole lot of roll spammers and wolf users seemed to really affect me badly :/

But some good news. the finals were recorded on a Hard drive so its proper quality... first stock of GF match 1 vs wolf, i called myself 'STEAK' and got a pretty epic dthrow->fair->bair stagespike gimp starting at about 48%. vid should be up in a few days, should be good :D

but i really do hate fighting falco's, its a nightmare, especially his... all he did was chain grab... not even DAI-A does that! ANYWAYS

X, you should always be trying to DI up or keep your D-Pads up.

If Falco tries to be fancy with the pivot grabs, I heard you can footstool him.

If he isn't frame-perfect with the grab, you can get a free 4% damage on him with a Spring pop.

Also your post... I don't know wather to be flattered or afraid... For a Sonic boarder, I'll take it as a very nice compliment.
