So, we miiight get a short burst of visitors.

I won another semifake Brawl tourney hosted by the gaming group at my college..

ESP Brawl Tourney
30+ people

1. Tenki/Steak -Sonic (lol I only broke out "Tenki" for two rounds. One of the players who played after me continued to use Steak, and he made it all the way to second XD)
2. Snake
3. Dedede/Marth
?___?

I'll see if they posted the results anywhere some other time.

There were actually metaknights in the tourney, but I guess I kinda got lucky because
1) They weren't in my bracket
2) The Snake and Dedede players knocked them out (lolol)

but that's not to say that I had things easy up til then. I 2-3stocked all my rounds up until the 3rd match, which was against dtong (Kirby), who I believe was the best player there. ;_; first round of that match, he almost 3stocked me, but I made a comeback and counterwon. The next round, he won smashville, and the last round, I countered Brinstar, got a stock lead, and won. It was pretty epic/fun.

Your lucky, I had to fight both Metaknight and Snake in my winner's finals, and a G&W in the grand finals.

I have a tournament NEXT Sunday...then another that same Saturday afterward...so expect me to update next week at least once.

Shame on X! He has been neglecting to inform this thread of his placings because he "doesn't want Sonic to go up on the tier list." He wants to say that he doesn't main a high tier, and if Sonic goes up, then that would change... (Even though I doubt little tournaments in Utah would affect the tier placement all that much, anyway.)

Thanks for the results PC, would you mind posting those reults in Ankoku's Character Rankings List?

@X, do you really believe your results will make Sonic high tier? Because they won't. Unless you're placing in huge tournaments consistently with Sonic, then there's a chance of him rising, but I don't see Sonic ever making it anywhere past Mid Tier. He probably won't even make it there.

Good stuff though, It makes me question though why you hide it...

Character Summary: thanks to SamuraiPanda lolol
His ability to punish even the slightest lag with a running grab is awesome, and he has some interesting options out of his throws, too. However, he is mostly limited by the player who uses him. Sonic has options for "mindgames," but if your opponent plays smarter than you, then you'll lose. Sonic's reliance on reading/tricking his opponent are both the strongest and the weakest part of his game.

Well, it would make sense that that would happen :l

Um guys just ignore the whole Fox thats next to Sonic.
I used Fox once in a match (which I lost ( ).

Friggin Malcolm knocked me into the losers round when i faced him.
I SDed in our first amtch.
And I hit a bomb on green greens by accident. The one time I blow up a bomb by accident and it csts me the match. Meanwhile malcolm got hit by like 4 and never died from them.

some people kept fluctuating between "Sonic's garbage!!" and "holy crap wtf omg sonic !??/ what tier is he? mid? high?" and I'd say "5th from bottom"

The thing is that I can blow them up as I please no problem. it was just that one Dsmash that ruined things.
its really helpful since Sonic really has no answer for characters sitting below him.

playing malcom was fun though, he has a great Sonic and uses alot more mindgames than I do. I play s very directly which I think hurts me in the long run.
