I guess everywhere else just sucks too much to beat Meta Knight? NY sure did an amazing job at keeping them from even placing high. teh_spamerer and I weren't there and probably would have placed top, but that's still barely anything compared to what some of you claim about Meta Knight dominating every tournament.

You guys would be laughed out of any other fighting game community.

@My set with AlphaZealot being so close: I was nice and agreed to all neutrals without banning FD, which actually gives Diddy a huge advantage. I wanted to see how I'd do without relying on gay stages and get experience fighting Diddy on his best stage. It was fun. He is a really good player and we both knew that match-up really well. He may have won the set if he didn't get shaken up so badly after messing up on Lylat.

I'm pretty sure that's the same -Blue- who came by a while ago. lol

Kai (aka Kai973) got 17th, and I'm pretty sure he's a Sonic main.

I played w/ him a few times online. It was fun.

Yup, I saw them both at the tourney. I think I'm going to Bum's weekly on saturday, so that should be a fun experience, wheere we wont all be crammed into a tiny store and hopefully my wiichuck will work right XD. But I dunno if I feel like paying travel money + 15 dollars to participate =/

Blue looks like a really cool guy from when I met him. He was wearing all blue lol, with a Sonic plush thing attached to his belt XD.

Darn, he just barely missed the top8 XD. It wouldv'e prolly counted quite a bit in ankoku's list cuz I mean common... 167 entrants....

Took my fiancee, so i was preoccupied with keeping her happy. Im having a friend put it "in the right format" and see if any of my standings get posted
But i owned a MK, so its victory as far as im concerned, lol
I currently am lacking a pc, or a tv. So i borrowed a monitor and use my PS3 to post. but that means i lack "copy/paste" but oh well...

Alrighty then, I'll be a little more fair.

You played well, but I felt you were a little weak on your reaction time. I felt as though your movements were too slow or you reacted too late to some of his movements. Your punishment game also seemed a little weak, but that might be just me being nitpicky.

Marth is a pain in the *** to play, so I'll give you props for getting that close to winning.
Next time, maybe out-wait him? Play very patiently, eventually he'll screw up, like whiffing uairs or dairs. Hell, you can even try bluffing him into a fsmash by weaving in and out of his tipper's range.

Dangerous? Of course, but if done correctly, the payoff is good.

Lag = Grab or foxtrot -> fsmash for Sonic. srsly.
