Lol I guess Hylian and I are both clingy. We txt each other all the time and we practically live together. But I am pretty independent. I live in an apartment I pay for, pay for my own insurance, school loans, bills, car loans. I do my own taxes. Work 2 jobs, one full time in a micro lab and the other gamestop :3. I try to fix things myself, like plumbing and such. I could probably change my own oil but I dont have a garage...

Also,yesterday, while Hylian was checking smashboards, I played halo and then he played sc2, then he came to play halo wif me. We do a lot of things together, but then do our own things. So yeah, to each their own. I don't think getting txts from your significant other is a sign of clingyness; to me they are just showing their interest in you when you are apart....XD

I think "where you at" text 50x is a day is a little much.

but don't take it the wrong way I love spending time with My significant other but Every moment of everyday?... naw son.

and I <3 any GF who will sit down and play a game with me...like thats 60+ points right there.

if I found a chick that played pokemon cards though

well maybe back then...I used to have a deck but then I realized nobody plays anymore so now its just like in the back of my closet....that and I think the older cards are now illegal in standard play...lol

Eff that I need space. If my chick is texting me while we live in the same spot... I'll probably go insane. I personally feel that it's cool if yo honey dip play games with you, I honestly wish I had a honey dip to do that with. But, if she always wants to do what I'm doing or comes around a little to much when i wanna play a game, then I'll probably be a lil heated. Or if I'm trying to play the game with someone I don't get to play with as much and she tries to butt in...I'll probably be heated.

But I'm single so....I guess it doesn't matter huh? *sigh*

Ok ideal BF:

A best friend who I can talk to about whatever; a guy that I can have serious or completely pointless conversations with.
Who is up to go do whatever, be it dancing, rock climbing, hiking, playing a sport, going to rockband nights, clubbing, playing in a playground or watching something at home.
Someone who will sing Bohemian Rhapsody with me on a car ride to a tournament.
I actually want a guy who plays video games; I've dated a guy who wasn't into video games that much and it wasn't as fun :p
Someone who will watch anime, musicals, plays, documentaries with me (wouldn't force him but chick flicks)
Someone who can subside my jealousy and trust.
A romantic guy who does things that I didn't think he would do like come to my work to give me a flower
Adventurous in and out of bed ;p
Will travel anywhere in the world
Ambitious and has goals
Can deal with my temper and helps me control it
Silly as I can be and I can be pretty weird too...

List goes on and on...

Pluses: Cooks, musically inclined, break dances, can teach me multiple languages...but we can't have everything :3

Physical appearances: Hmm...dated pretty much all types but no one shorter than me...I don't think I could be comfortable with a guy shorter than 5'4"; ethnicity doesn't play a factor; a great smile; yaddah yaddah

It's also pretty insane how similar Rauleen and my likes are. We both have the same favorite sushi rolls, candy, doughnut, pretty much music, ideals, morals, religious views...and then just weird things like Hylian88 and Radium88 being the same length and both ending in 88 >_> lol. We also have our differences as well though which is important. She makes me feel incredibly lucky and I don't think I'll ever meet anyone like her for the rest of my life. She has all the traits I want in a girl.

-Hardcore gamer. I am a gamer to the end and I'd like to have someone who is equally as big into gaming as me. Dating another Smasher would be awesome.

-Eclectic taste in music. I love music and I am very into multiple genres of music. I don't want someone who is gonna be a stiff about me listening to rap or electronic or indie.

-I'd like someone who is into skateboarding. I've been skateboarding for like 4 years and I've always wanted someone to skate with on a regular basis.

-Someone who will tolerate my snoring. Trust me, this is harder than it sounds. I'm willing to put money on the table that I could out-snore Overswarm.

-I want someone who is pretty outdoorsy, I'm not a hiker or anything but someone who just wants to go to the park and hang out.

-Feminine dudes are a no-go.

As far as looks go I'm pretty lenient. I'm not the most attractive dude out there.

-I'm not picky on height. I do have a thing for short guys.
-I like short to medium length hair. I have a thing for short curly hair.
-I'm pretty partial to white guys. South American dudes are pretty attractive as well.
-Not too big on skinny guys. I like someone with some kind of meat on their bones.
-Fashion sense isn't a big issue for me. So long as you don't dress like this dork.

Don't do it. Most Pinay chicks are cute and sweet at first, then seriously go beyond crazy.

Like spend weeks begging you to marry them, run off to the Philippines while quite a bit pregnant (against doctor recommendation for risk of delivering early, she did), begging for $6000 immediately to pay for future check ups and delivery while you have a medical card in United States. Sent $1300 to help out, didn't claim me on the birth certificate, shortly afterwards married a childhood friend, ignored all phone calls after our baby was born 1 month prematurely and they were to stay in hospital.

When finally came back to the U.S, I was to have nothing to do with him. Fought like crazy for him, constantly changing her mind that I was trying to see our boy too much or I'm a worthless dad that doesn't care. Side note, she's now dating some white dude here although she's still married.

Soo uhh, KB, you may want to reconsider.

Been fighting in court for a year and half, but that's finally over. I don't get my boy nearly as much as I want, but it's better than what a lot of dad's get It's pretty much every other weekend, every Wednesday for 3 hours, 2 full weeks in the summer, and we switch on holidays and stuff. Relationship between Mom and I has actually been fairly calm and understanding, but we're certainly not each other's favorite people.

(I'm not racist and this isn't directed towards Rauleen/family at all; she's awesome. Just wanted to share some of my experience I've had with a Pinay and her family).

As unfortunate as your experience was ( I feel for you), your post implies that Pinay women all do the sort of thing your ex did to you. "Warning" someone in the way you have foreshadows prejudice whether you actively realize it or not.

The truth is: Craziness knows no racial boundaries. There are crazy women and men of all races capable of doing similar or worse actions.

His first sentence was like that, but notice afterwards that it wasn't what he meant at all, just that some of them could be crazy in the end, which is still doubtful, but based on his experience he has no reason to think otherwise.

lololololol. I've dated and know enough women that craziness comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, etc. Believe it or not, I'm friends with some Pinays and work with a few as well. They're all great. I simply brought this up because people were talking about Pinay and this is the "something most people don't know about you" thread. The warning part was a joke, and it was a good way to bring up my story. Quite frankly, I've read a lot of things in this thread that are much more offensive than what I had to say.

*looks at my last post* Oh God. Yeah I was already somewhat drunk when I posted that. lol my bad it is difficult to determine what's supposed to be a joke or sarcasm/etc on the internet anyway. Still that's unfortunate it happened.

Lolol if it's worth anything, I didn't think you had some hatred against pinays because once you found out I was one, you didn't run away screaming bloody murder. But thanks for sharing your story Rob; what a horrible woman. Sorry but at least you got a super adorable kid. Hope no more drama like that comes your way.

FYI, we are a bit crazy but aren't all women?
