Advertising? Singles draws in more n00bs than doubles, either because they don't like to depend on a teammate, or because they think team attack on is a gay rule.

This being the first convention they've held, they wanted to try and draw as many people as possible.

That can explain why singles can be made slightly more important, but not ten million times more important.

Obviously not going to happen because I'm not Mew2King.

I don't need to **** a large tournament in singles to be good in singles.

You can see plenty of big singles wins here and huge tournament accomplishments like beating teh_spamerer, NinjaLink, Bum, Atomsk, whatever vlkhdflkjdsfksf. I can do well in singles, but I've grown to dislike it a lot.

Lucas you keep showing that medal case of your past singles accomplishments. Just saying. I also am gonna care more about doubles but singles is where its at and ALWAYS has been at.

and I almost always beat scar says my last 3-4 meetings with him in tourney.

i got lucky vs darc

hax is clutch in tourney did we NOT see him vs silent wolf? haha

In doubles, yes. Eliminate mk from two vs two and imagine how amazingly competitive doubles then becomes. In singles he can be beaten when we can camp him, but otherwise you're ****ed.

Game and Watch is the best in doubles.

if more of the higher tiered doubles characters had energy projectiles id agree with you, but most of the time in order for GaW to play his best, the partner will have to short them selves in character selection in order to match up with GWatch the best way possible.

Game and Watch doesn't need that. A partner sets him up for really cheap stuff so easily, and he can support, attack, or whatever because of how teams works.

Game and Watch has gayer kill moves, survives almost as long because of bucket braking, is harder to hit, has more range, and is a better supporter.

And then the bucket gayness exists.
