Ok guys, i have an announcement to make. I am in the process of creating a smash club at CoD. This will allow me to reserve space for tournaments as well as give us an opportunity to expand our player base.
In an effort to expand the community and with the additional space allowed, there will be a brawl tournament running in parallel with the normal melee tournament. This won't start until the November tournament (tentatively scheduled for 11/20).

OMFGGGGGGG Sveet, My goal is now to knock you out of every tournament you ever go to. Winners and Losers Bracket. I don't care if I have to beat Kels to do it either.

wait till you see these vids....tom did some ridiccc stuff......he was just on all night, and didnt really mess up to bad....atleast vs me ....with kels, kels just sucks and needs to practice more.....he took a month off...not the way to go....but ppl are gonna say toms top 5 falcons right now after the vids....they were some pretty ridic matches. tom had two 5 game sets with me, and 3 with kelly.....the iron man of the MW heh.
edit: since brawl is the side event at this, i would think you would play your melee before brawl here....atleast, if i was sveet, i would make you -_-.
also, sveet, you should think of taking a venue fee of like, 5 bux with alot of attedance, you can use it for either pot bonus, or start saving up for another melee circuit and get things jump started 0_o.

Putting all the Midwest aside, I don't think SS's match-up with you would have to do with the coast or your exposure to Falcons around the midwest. Travel to a national and get some perspective, Josh. No offense, but your lack of exposure is the only reason you think you might do well against SS. I've seen the level of players that have troubled/beaten you around our tourneys, and none of them hold a candle to SS.

continuing juggleguy's list:
lost to ken a few other times
lost to falcomist more than once i think
lost to kfc (i dunno if kfc used fox or marth)
barely beat pewpewu, got pretty lucky on a few parts but hey credit where credit is due he still won
and man that taj match sucks, taj did everything wrong and nothing right in that match, he might as well have been a level 9
he did beat strawhat alright, but i played strawhat right afterwards and beat him in some friendlies too. pretty great player, but if you know about his run up dtilt trick you can punish him with a whole bunch of stomps

SS isn't good against marth like he is against space animals. He'd still **** the **** out of any marth short of M2k though.

Nah, this is the tournament schedule for the rest of this month.
october 2nd - nothing
9th- SSBO
16th-SGNG
23rd-HDR
i can't go to all three, HDR is kind of a big deal since i went to the first one so i'm going for sure.
I'm gonna try to pace myself that way i'm not burnt out when it matters, plus i want money for HDR and in all honesty SSBO seems like an easier chance for me.
plus i made a deal with my mom that i could do biweeklies if i did well in school so yeah, plus i wanna go to SSBO to chill with all my homies from purdue of course :D

^if people bring setups for it, i have no problem running it. There was supposed to be one at the last tournament, but nobody brought a setup

Just keep in mind that holding Brawl and Melee at the same time causes interference with tournament matches that need to be held and holds up a lot of the tournament. Lain is a prime example of this at the Don't Blink series.

If brawl is ran, the tournaments would be separate. I will suggest to all players to only join 1 tournament, as it will be difficult to do both games at once, but in cases like lain and m2k who want a shot at both game's money i would purposely schedule matches so the players can devote adequate time to both games.
