Good morning, folks! The votes seem pretty clear...
Bugs Bunny: 29
SpongeBob: 19
Powerpuff Girls: 3
Homer Simpson: 11
Scooby-Doo: 3
Felix the Cat: 4
Fred Flintstone: 8
Zuko: 1
Buzz Lightyear: 0
Ruby Rose: 0
(Sorry Buzz and Ruby :( )

Again, a good few of these should get in in some form eventually. But our winner for now is DragonRobotKing26 DragonRobotKing26 / @Darkonedagger 's Bugs Bunny! In regards to what Tankman from Newgrounds Tankman from Newgrounds said earlier, I would accept submissions for Trading Cards and Music related to Looney Tunes and the 80's/90's WB shows like Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, etc., but Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Network, and [adult swim] seem like too much of their own things, aside from some crossovers. Another note: in the future, would people like some character jobs that get two or even three in at once, given some of the obvious characters that seem to have to wait a while, or is that too much too fast?

Regardless, here's a new job...

Job #46: Submit a mini-game themed to a currently represented series.
I was looking at some of the ones I had written down, and they seemed like repeats. Then I looked up at what sections seemed slightly lacking, and, well, here we go. I'll count Smash mini-games here, as well, if you feel like it, given we have Mario and some Pokémon/general Nintendo stuff. Perhaps too much. :O But besides that, we do also currently have Superman/DC, Spider-Man/Marvel, Mickey Mouse/Disney, Looney Tunes, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Sonic/SEGA, the Muppets, Star Wars, RoboCop, Dracula/Castlevania, Santa Claus/Christmas/holidays, and McDonald's/food mascots in general. Some of these would be odd to make mini-games for, but if you can come up with one, go ahead.

The Bonus Game from
Super Mario Bros 3

It plays the same as the original but the fighter will have to hit each slot with an attack of some sorts (most likely only a jab or aerial on the spot). Each item gives the player bonus points towards the final score.

As for the question AlRex AlRex posed, I would say maybe two characters max get added in for future character jobs. Three seems a bit too much for me.

Also, some trading cards to get us started:

Looney Tunes:
-Daffy Duck
-Porky Pig
-Wily E Coyote
-Lola Bunny
-Pepe Le Pew
-Speedy Gonzales
-Foghorn Leghorn
-Sylvester
-Michael J. Frog

Tiny Toons:
-Buster Bunny
-Babs Bunny

Animaniacs:
-Yakko, Wakko and Dot
-Dr. Scratchnsniff
-Pinky and The Brain
-Slappy Squirrel
-The Nurses

I'm gonna re-nominate one of Wario Wario Wario's older submissions.
I was gonna submit Calvinball and even had a pretty hefty writeup for it, but I realised this is supposed to be a single player game, heh.

Coyote Chase

I was gonna make this Tom & Jerry themed, but I feel that'd be a real bad disconfirm, especially so soon. This bonus round is a derivative of Race to the Finish where you run around the canyon. Wile E. Coyote is snooping around in the background, interacting with the foreground indirectly in different ways (for example, painting a tunnel you can run through or blowing up a Rushmore-esque monument that will block the path) - when the stage loops around in the non-timed version outside of Arcade Mode, those changes are permanent and there can even be further changes.

I think given the small amount of submissions, I'll add all three we have currently. Good work still, folks!

I'll give you folks two jobs now, though I'll still give you all two days for each.

Job #47: Submit an Assist from a comic, cartoon, anime, or manga.
The top two from this will be selected. It doesn't matter whether they're already represented or not. For me, I'll just resubmit Speed Racer.
Speed Racer
View attachment 344687
An incredibly iconic anime series and character, but he is iconic mostly for being in the car, and that's not as easily transmitted to a fighting game moveset unless we have the car itself fighting like Hornet from Daytona USA did in Fighters Megamix. That all said, Speed will get in and rev up the powerful Mach Five, then start racing around the stage and driving into foes. He'll sometimes use the cars super jumping feature to get to higher up places, and even send out a robotic pigeon to bother foes, or attack with giant buzz saws that sprout from the car. Once he's done, he'll get out of the car and do the famous pose you see here, then he'll disappear.
—————
Job #48: Submit an item from a live-action TV show, movie, or book.
The top two from this will be selected. It also doesn't matter here whether they're already represented or not.
Magic Carpet (Tales from the Thousand and One Nights/Aladdin)
Carpet_KHII.png

While this is Aladdin's famous flying carpet, getting on this will function more like the ones in Super Mario Bros. 2. You get on top of it and essentially it is a floating platform you can direct in mid-air for a brief period of time before it fades away.

Job #47

Garfield

images.jpeg

Garfield is one of the most iconic comic strip and cartoon characters out there. He can be sort of a healing-dish assist by giving the person who summoned him lasagna or food of some sort or something.

Job #48

Sonic Screwdriver (Dr. Who)

71oW7pkt9zL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

The Sonic Screwdriver is one of the most famous items of all of live-action TV history. When this item is picked up, it will have a random function.

It will either:
-Shoot a projectile
-Grab an opponent
-Become a sword
-Become an explosive
and many more to represent the Sonic Screwdriver's multiple capabilities.

Job about items:
Auryn (The Neverending story)

Auryn is an amulet from famous German Neverending Story Book. It's an amulet that protects a person from harm and it's worn by Childlike Empress that rules the land of Fantasia.

In game, when you activate it, you get immune to all attacks from 10 seconds and it also reflects Projectiles like Franklin's Badge from Smash.

Job about Assists:
Resubmitting Hulk (I know he can be Playable, but I want him as helping character)

Job 43:
Unrepresented assist:
Hulk (The Incredible Hulk)

View attachment 344691

The Hulk is a fictional superhero appearing in publications by the American publisher Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in the debut issue of The Incredible Hulk (May 1962). In his comic book appearances, the character is both the Hulk, a green-skinned, hulking and muscular humanoid possessing a vast degree of physical strength, and his alter ego Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, a physically weak, socially withdrawn, and emotionally reserved physicist. The two exist as independent dissociative personalities, and resent each other.

Following his accidental exposure to gamma rays while saving the life of Rick Jones during the detonation of an experimental bomb, Banner is physically transformed into the Hulk when subjected to emotional stress, at or against his will. This transformation often leads to destructive rampages and to conflicts that complicate Banner's civilian life. The Hulk's level of strength is normally conveyed as proportionate to his level of anger. Commonly portrayed as a raging savage, the Hulk has been represented with other personalities based on Banner's fractured psyche, from a mindless, destructive force, to a brilliant warrior, or a genius scientist in his own right. Despite both Hulk and Banner's desire for solitude, the character has a large supporting cast. This includes Banner's lover Betty Ross, his best friend Rick Jones, his cousin She-Hulk, and therapist and ally Doc Samson. In addition, the Hulk alter ego has many key supporting characters, like his co-founders of the superhero team the Avengers, his queen Caiera, fellow warriors Korg and Miek, and sons Skaar and Hiro-Kala. However, his uncontrollable power has brought him into conflict with his fellow heroes and others. Despite this, he tries his best to do what's right while battling villains such as the Leader, the Abomination, the Absorbing Man and more.
One of the most iconic characters in popular culture,[4][5] the character has appeared on a variety of merchandise, such as clothing and collectable items, inspired real-world structures (such as theme park attractions), and been referenced in a number of media. Banner and the Hulk have been adapted in live-action, animated, and video game incarnations

What's his purpose?
When summoned, he could appear as Bruce Banner. When you hit him, he would become a giant assist and he could walk around the stage and he could do his attack: "Hulk Smash!", which he does a ground pound that shakes the whole stage and deals heavy damage. Also, he could grab a fighter and throw it across the stage, dealing great damage. He also can tank some attacks, which it gives him a super armor.
He can be defeated actually.

I know he can work as a fighter, but due to fact how destructive he is, I'm gonna make him as an assist character due to his popularity and I don't think we could have him in Base roster or DLC, but still he could fit as an Assist trophy character despite he has some moveset potential.
Actually, an one Avenger as Assist character won't ruin the whole game I guess...
I have some ideas for new Trading cards:
Looney Tunes:
1. Taz the Tasmanian Devil
2. Gossamer
3. Elmer Fudd
4. Elmira Fudd

Misc, SEGA:
1. Pengo
2. Sakura Shinguji (Sakura Wars)
3. Vyse (Skies of Arcadia)
4. LOPIT (Sega Jpypolis)
5. Sega Hard Girls (Saturn, Mega Drive and Dreamcast)

Job 47

Cure White and Cure Black (Precure)

Cure White and Cure Black would run around the stage and attack opponents occasionally tag-teaming some

Job 48

Sting (The Lord Of The Rings)

This is a standard sword item but it glows blue when the person who has the least amount of Percentage is nearby dealing more damage to them

Green Lantern
When summoned he will fly around the stage and use his ring to create constructs. There are multiple, such as a cage to trap fighters, a gatling gun, a big hand to sweep figthers, and others.

The Briefcase (Pulp Fiction)

Forewarning: I have never seen Pulp Fiction, all I know is that there's a briefcase and it's a mystery what's in it.

Either way, this brief case will put a single-use version of a random throwing item or projectile in your hands - the only catch is that it's invisible and can only be recognised as a vague, glowing gold sphere.

The Taco Town Pizza Crepe Taco Pancake Chili Bag (Saturday Night Live)

Screenshot 2022-02-23 at 16-00-56 Taco Town - SNL.png

This item can heal a lot, but beware, this is a really big taco. When a character eats it they will be put into an animation that can be cancelled out of at any time. It takes roughly 30 seconds to heal 150%. Healing 5% per second.

Job #47: Cad Bane (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)
6285ABCA-2E5A-481C-9802-A1F1EBB2ADC1.png

Cad Bane made his first appearance in the hit animated Star Wars series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. When summoned, Cad Bane will immediately pull out one of his twin blasters and unleash one quick deadly shot towards the direction he was spawned, causing a huge amount of damage to anyone in his way. Then Cad Bane will use his rocket boots to hover towards any nearby opponents, unleashing either a barrage of blaster fire with his dual pistols or fire from his flamethrower. The dual pistols will fire rapidly, but don’t take as much damage compared to his first shot.

Job #48: Leatherface’s Golden Chainsaw (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3)
F5D1CDB7-E95D-4FA9-88D8-C3AF45A0194A.png

Leatherface’s Golden Chainsaw first appeared in Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3. When equipped, the chainsaw will immediately start to charge up. Anyone hit with the chainsaw will at least be knocked back. However, the chainsaw will not allow you to jump and your fighter will constantly move it up and down, due to the saw’s uncontrollable speed.

Job 47: Snoos (Reddit)

When this AT spawns, a horde of Snoos will appear on the back of the stage. They will then analyze the performance of the summoner. Dealing damage to the foes has the Snoos appear pleased, causing a red arrow (upvote) to come out of the ground and buff you. If the summoner get launched a lot, the Snoos will look disappointed, causing a blue arrow (downvote) to come from the sky and hit the summoner, dealing damage and debuffing them for a bit. Once the Snoos cast their judgement, they will disappear.
Although most Snoos would be in their default appearance, others would be dressed like fighters in the roster.

I love this idea, but does it count as "comic, cartoon, anime or manga"?

Damn... I missed that part.
Please disregard my Snoo submission, I'll swap it out.

Item Submission: Cheese Touch (Diary of a Wimpy Kid)

This is a useless item. Touching it gives you the poison status ailment.
