When did Nintendo turn into VALVe?We’re just starting the speculation for Smash 6
Assuming Spirits don't deconfirm characters.Dixie at the least can fit the DLC pack mold that they have going with a Tropical Freeze stage and a good amount of music from that game and maybe even a few more DK tracks. What would characters like Waluigi and Toad bring for those departments?
Waluigi would bring this with him for sure:Dixie at the least can fit the DLC pack mold that they have going with a Tropical Freeze stage and a good amount of music from that game and maybe even a few more DK tracks. What would characters like Waluigi and Toad bring for those departments?
This exactly. There's no DKC3 music at all and only two returning rips from TF. Plenty of stuff Dixie could bring.Dixie at the least can fit the DLC pack mold that they have going with a Tropical Freeze stage and a good amount of music from that game and maybe even a few more DK tracks. Rosalina's "one-off" game, Super Mario Galaxy (a main series title, may I remind you), was a huge and notable game, that when on to be considered one of the greatest games of 2007 (That's quite a big honor when you remember exactly how insane 2007 was for gaming), and a huge game changer when it came to Mario games.Rosalina is basically a one-off if we ignore her two secret appearances and the spinoffs.
Waluigi would probabky bring Mario spin-off stuff. A tennis court stage and music from the Mario spinoffs, more than what we have now. Not sure about Toad.Dixie at the least can fit the DLC pack mold that they have going with a Tropical Freeze stage and a good amount of music from that game and maybe even a few more DK tracks. Rosalina was also a very well developed character who Nintendo liked so much, that only 5 months after her debut, she appeared as an unlockable character in Mario Kart Wii.
She, along with Wii Fit Trainer can also be seen as representatives as one of Nintendo's most triumphant and notable eras in their history. A time where they were back on top after nearly a decade of being beaten at their own game by Sony, and made a huge impact on the gaming industry with the Wii.
If you ask me, Rosalina has quite the legacy, and she's only been around for 11 years
Please. If Nintendo was Valve, we’d never get a game past 2. We’d be stuck with Smash Melee for forever. When did Nintendo turn into VALVe?

When Nintendo got nervous about Mother 3.When did Nintendo turn into VALVe?
You’re implying that’s a bad thing.Please. If Nintendo was Valve, we’d never get a game past 2. We’d be stuck with Smash Melee for forever.
Well yeah, taking that into account as well.Assuming Spirits don't deconfirm characters.
Forgot there was no DKC3 music as well. This exactly. There's no DKC3 music at all and only two returning rips from TF. Plenty of stuff Dixie could bring.
Mario already has the most stages and music out of any franchise.
I'm not saying she's unimportant or has no legacy; I also loved Galaxy.Rosalina's "one-off" game, Super Mario Galaxy, was a huge and notable game that when on to be considered one of the greatest games of 2007 (That's quite a big honor when you remember exactly how insane 2007 was for gaming), and a huge game changer when it came to Mario games.

Loz19Man, remember when Loz18 came here and tried to be all mysterious?
That was weird. I wonder what pseudonym he's using nowadays.
Man, wouldn't it be weird if he was here right now?Man, remember when Loz18 came here and tried to be all mysterious?

And if literally anything contradicts said status quo in regards to other things Smash has done, there's always excuses why those are exceptions despite the same reasoning against one legitimately applies to the one who did make it.That's the trend.
Somewhere, somehow, the fans are always going to come up for a reason to preserve the current status quo.
It happens, for quite literally everything Smash has done.
I thought the same until we found out all the DLC is going to be third-party. Heck, you could say the same about Elma and any ARMS character (no Xenoblade X or ARMS music). I would be very surprised if we got any Nintendo character DLC after Piranha Plant at this point.Dixie at the least can fit the DLC pack mold that they have going with a Tropical Freeze stage and a good amount of music from that game and maybe even a few more DK tracks. It’s Lolz18Man, remember when Loz18 came here and tried to be all mysterious?

Assuming his name is just an acronym for Legend of Zelda, I wouldn't be surprised if he just wanted to give his most wanted character, Skull Kid, some time in the spotlight. And it definitely worked.I do seriously wonder what Loz's end goal was though. He knew his time was numbered the minute that E3 was over, yet he kept himself in the spotlight.
If it was attention, he got it, but at the cost of him having to more or less go into hiding since September.
It did work. There was barely any talk of Skull Kid until he started saying he was going to happen.Assuming his name is just an acronym for Legend of Zelda, I wouldn't be surprised if he just wanted to give his most wanted character, Skull Kid, some time in the spotlight. And it definitely worked.
I do remember people applying the chair theory to Skull Kid; I think that may have been before loz18's words but I forgot. It did work. There was barely any talk of Skull Kid until he started saying he was going to happen.
Being a large zelda fan (or I assume he was), my guess is that his primary end goal wasn't the spotlight. Or well, it was, but not to be shined on him for the most part.I do seriously wonder what Loz's end goal was though. OK guy, let me just set this straight...I thought the same until we found out all the DLC is going to be third-party. Heck, you could say the same about Elma and any ARMS character (no Xenoblade X or ARMS music). I would be very surprised if we got any Nintendo character DLC after Piranha Plant at this point.
I have not played Tropical Freeze, but its really a shame that no additional music was included in Ultimate, since everything I heard from the soundtracks seems to be among David Wise's best work, and that actually says a lot.
I'd also assume that was the DMC5 leaker's intent with Dante...It did work. There was barely any talk of Skull Kid until he started saying he was going to happen.
I agree that the idea that all DLC will be 3rd party is flawed.OK guy, let me just set this straight...
There is NO confirmation that all the DLC is 3rd party.
You may think that because of Joker's reveal, Reggie's statement and the leaks we've gotten.
But unless Nintendo straight up says there is no Nintendo DLC, it's not deconfirmed.
I'm with people believing the opposite.
I'm NOT fine with people stating it as a fact.
If you're not in a Yoshi costume in every picture i'm gonna be so damn upset with you.FYI I'll be going on vacation Tuesday morning, meaning my posting will come to a screeching halt for over a week (considering my mom likes to do everything under the sun while I visit...)
You might get to see pics of me irl...
We will see. Reminds me of the box theory where people did not believe something solely because they did not want it to be true. Personally, I think the closest thing we will get to a Nintendo character will be if Banjo-Kazooie or Geno gets in.OK guy, let me just set this straight...

Naw man Sakurai wanted to mislead us. It was obviously the plant hinting at Piranha Plant.Oh speaking of chair theory, I was browsing TV Tropes and this somehow wormed its way in and someone applied there own theory on what the chairs symbolized.
This was under the tag Foreshadowing btw
The chairs are actually representative of Galeem and Dharkon, who glow yellow and purple respectively as they die during the true ending of Adventure Mode.
I’m almost certain it was to build support for Skull Kid. He was actually pretty clever about it.I do seriously wonder what Loz's end goal was though. He knew his time was numbered the minute that E3 was over, yet he kept himself in the spotlight.

I have several Yoshi shirts if that countsIf you're not in a Yoshi costume in every picture i'm gonna be so damn upset with you.
Master Hand and Crazy Hand are a child's hands, while Galeem and Dharkon are chairs in the school the child goes to (his mom is a teacher and brought a couple of chairs home for him).Oh speaking of chair theory, I was browsing TV Tropes and this somehow wormed its way in and someone applied there own theory on what the chairs symbolized.
