Hey at least you name isn't Carl like mine. I get sooooooo many people referencing that Llama cartoon thing. lol
Kinda why I just preferred people to call me True now, and even more of the reason why I never named changed to Pure Blue.

Anyways. I think I am slightly back? lol thought I would check up.
BUT FUDGE! SONIC LOST WORLD LOOKS AWESOME! And it has a multiplayer, didn't hear of that. Makes me super happy.
Now all we need is that awesome Song to go with it like the older games. lol

Oh noes, the physics is missing..... That kinda was going to be obvious since they show him running on the half circle and continue to go through the level upside down. Those other world physics.

Won a local tournament this past saturday.

Played all sonic, except for when fighting Azeal, I played Fox on him because his main was banned and I felt bad. But then I whooped his metaknight with sonic after the tournament. Split the pot with Neil because we didnt feel like playing out another 3-10 games, when we could both just take 50 bucks and call it a day.

matches that were recorded:
my fox vs Azeal
all 5 games of winners finals me vs pikapika, all sonic vs pikachu.
me 2-0ing Azeals MK after the tournament mk vs sonic
me 3-0ing polars mario after the tournament Sonic vs Mario.

I got some good footage and if I continue to play like this, I think I could actually do some damage at impulse this weekend.

still gonna get camped to death by megaman

hopefully he is a somewhat respectable heavy like DK or ROB this time around

heavies like DDD and Snake are only good by unbalanced broken features imo, but heavies really need some work to be viable,, high risk, high reward and a high threshold for punishment

I lost to V115 2-1 and Morks' snake 2-0.

I am notoriously bad at the snake matchup unless I practice it religiously.

Meek had Kingkong first round (lucky SOB) and then beat Croi's wario with metaknight. After that, I dont know what happened. I would assume he lost the next two rounds after that because I haven't heard about him causing any upsets or anything like that.

But facts are facts and losses are losses. So Meek is officially, verifiably better than me now.

Lost to Ally. Lost to Croi. Game 3 with a timeout on Castle Siege. I'm more salty that Croi lost to Suzaku the way that he did though.
It's a day later and I can already tell that's going to bother me for weeks on end.

Also, Meek used MK against me, if that's any consolation.

meekspeedy with that super free bracket. notrly though. just the first round.

im so tight that out of everybody in the tournament, he got kingkong first round. I was stomping him out the night before too. so I knew there was even a chance that KK would beat meek.

A lot of things would have went differently if things went differently.

Im just mad that of all possible people in the entire bracket, you got to get free azz bowser round 1. And then you went mk on croi, which is lame, because sonic wario is fun. but whatever. i dont really care about that. Its my fault, I should have just beaten V, and then I would have played will who Ive beaten before.

It seems only logical that a 1st seed would get someone "free" first round while lower seeds would be met with something tougher. Its the whole purpose of pools.

they do when your first round is a bowser.

like, I honestly promise you, I wouldnt complain if he had gotten literally ANY other 2 seed to fight against. I played Kingkong the day before and straight bodied his business.

but tesh makes a good point. its my own fault for not beating holy, and its my own fault for not beating V. Im not saying meek isnt better than me. because the results show that he is. im just mad he got realistically, one of our easiest matchups in the game.

Yea that pool was absurdly predictable. It was obviously Trela was gonna be first with X being second and that the other 3 people would be hopeless.

I honestly think at big events, TOs just get super lazy making some of the pools.

that happens too. round round pools are too much hassle once you get past like... 150 people. but theyre not worth running if you have less than... like, 50.

its not really lazy as much as it is just too much work for one nominal gain.

Lol

My logic was based on character usage & WHO they beat.

Plus I also value playing styles and adaptability.

So... it's lazy. :applejack:
when i think lazy, i think of somebody not doing something because they just dont feel like it at the time.

This is more like not doing it because in the process of running a national smash tournament, the TOs time could be better spent doing more productive things.

but you clearly just want to call them lazy, so you can feel free to continue doing so.

Making a bracket proper isn't a top priority when it comes to productivity?
Fancy that. Didn't expect any less from you though.

I got some good luck facing Ally first round. Ultimately, despite my placing, this was a considerately difficult bracket.

I lost to Croi, but it really could have belonged to either one of us to advance. Though I have a strong feeling that if I had faced Suzaku instead I would have progressed further into the bracket. What's happened has happened, I've gone to an East Coast Canada tournament and that's all I needed.

To me, it's not about whose the better Sonic in Canada. Me and Meek are both good in our own respectful rights.

[EDIT]

It was fun meeting all the Sonics. Meek, KID, and there was the Québec Sonic player too.

My final travelling experience for Brawl might be WHOBO 5, so I might meet you again, Espy! If you go to that, at least.
