It's helped me get some sleep, but staying asleep is the other half of the problem.

Espy, go find a close friend IRL who won't mind (ideally not anybody here) and just start venting. Met one of my best friends because she needed someone to do that to and I was in the right place at the right time. Helped her tremendously, and gave me someone to vent back at, which is probably directly responsible for my current state of reasonable sanity.

As for sleep, you should probably seek professional help. Getting that sorted out makes everything else that much easier.

(I am probably giving way too much advice lately.)

I have trouble sleeping too sometimes, and I'm one of those people who operates on a minimum of 9 hours of sleep. lol. I feel dead the next day after not sleeping. It could be your pillow, your bed, caffeine, or a number of other factors that prevent you from sleeping.

I have this exact problem too, since I was 6 even. I treat it with one prescription the psychiatrist prescribes (not sure if i'm allowed to say the name?) which is basically a dual anxiety reliever/sleep fixer. Otherwise, it takes me 90 minutes to fall asleep from when I get to bed and I only stay asleep for 4-5 hours which makes me a zombie throughout the day. D:
