Made my resolutions on a wishbone. If they come true, I'll start eating more turkey.

1) Get good grades to get into medical school.

2) Get an internship/job focused on medicine.

3) Strike up the courage to start a relationship with this girl I know at college.

4) Not lose money when I go to Vegas.

5) Get some innovation to get started on making musical remixes.

6) Place well in tournaments.

All in that order.

Just got home from dropping off Kinzer at his mom's work from attending Gemini's New Year's Eve tournament. I didn't know that they had other video game tournaments running at the same time, but at least the games were free except the UFO Catcher :( I spent $3 on that machine again. I'll post the results there later since I'm the one who had to co-host the tournament with Xero (but I did almost all the freaking work). Meh, at least it wasn't as stressful compare to Supercon's tournament. Also I hate Murphy's Law right now. My mom called me telling me that my dad left his keys at his work today. I was kinda forced to leave early today just to find out that my dad said he'll wait til tomorrow to pick up his keys since the traffic was mess thanks to the Strip being closed tonight for the new year.

Anyway, I'll say my resolutions for 2011
1) Become a better Sonic player
2) Graduate from UNLV with my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and find a career in my field
3) Become a better tournament organizer for Las Vegas
4) Lose some weight
5) Stand up to my mom about going to casinos all the time

And Sonic Storm, good luck trying not to lose money here in Las Vegas. Almost everytime I go to the casino it either lose money or walk out even. Only a few times I actually walked out ahead with 20% more than what I came in with.

Career before romance at this point since I'm coming to a crossroads, screw that, and I'll be right up there with the Top 5 Sonics soon enough, that order.

I've been to an OK casino once because they lowered the age limit to 18, and I went in with a small 100 dollars. I had quadruple that amount at one point, but because I was 18 and an idiot, I kept pressing my luck, and left with 30. This upcoming Vegas trip is me way of making up for that.

It's weird, I had planned my Spring Break to be a simple stay at my relative's boathouse with a few friends (and hopefully that girl, lol), but then I find out I'm going to Vegas. I swear this is intentional.

I've done that before as well. Most of the time I usually double what I started with then I just get that urge saying, "this machine is on fire. If I'll cash out at so-and-so amount" then it drops passed it and I'll just keep pressing my luck more hopefully to make up the amount but it goes to the point I have nothing left.

Freaking. You and your tradition of making these wacky statements on special occasions.

and I told you, nothing good can come from combining the Touhou and Sonic franchises, it's either one or the other. :X
I like combining things together like Sonic and Link or Sonic and buses. I love doing those long wacky statements. It's more fun saying in a really long run-on sentence.

Who is Quest?

Serious question. I don't remember what his name used to be.

Sonic vs. Lucario: 35:65

Sonic vs. Trela's Lucario: ffff:lol

Reminds me of when I got an Uair -> DJ Uair -> Spring Uair KO on Trela once at 90-something percent.

Of course, it was in Trela's wifi TOMB tournaments, but still!

Happy New Year Sonic's :) I think it's fair to say you owned 2010 as far as Brawl is concerned...have a good 2011 :)

Oh yea and I was wrong about Sonic 4 - once you get used to the physics/methods of building up speed its actually a really good game. Uncurling kind of sucks and stopping dead in the air is a bit weird but everything else is all good

The physics in Sonic 3 + Knuckles are a bit slippery tbh, you can charge spindash on a few 'hills' (but not tot the extent you can in Sonic 4) and do a sliding crouch. Taunting ftw

So, my New Years was pretty cool. Partied a little, got ***** by Mario Kart Wii, hung out in a 24hr. McDonald's and watched the drunk college kids be drunk and stuff and got laid. T'was a good night. Oh and I got Toy Story 1 and 3 as belated Christmas presents.

It's already 2011 in Japan, and SEGA's already set up a teaser site for Sonic 2011 games.

There's apparently five games being made for 2011:

Sonic 3DS

Another Mario & Sonic. This one is not a sports title.

The fabled Sonic Anniversary game. It's apparently going to feature stages from Sonic 1 to Sonic Adventure 2, and they're all going to be tweaked up and made into full fledged 3D stages.

There have been hints of a Sonic Adventure 3 being made.

And Sonic 4: Episode 2

Should be a fun year for Sonic, lol

New Year's Resolutions:

1) No Soda / Pop.
2) Limit Eating out at Restaurants. (Since there's an additional 2% tax on restaurants / bars now to build a new arena that we don't need. -.-)
3) Dye my Hair blue again.
4) Giving Tournaments another shot.
5) Don't write 2010 on checks.
6) Beat Battletoads for the NES without using any cheats, including the infinite continues. I'm playing it on an actual NES too so no save states either. So far I've beaten the speed bike level without dying and gotten to level 6 (Snakes) without using a continue.

Bring it on 2011.

Considering there is are code names for Zelda 3DS and Starfox 3DS being remakes of previous games, and that one of the confirmed titles, Kid Icarus Uprising, doesn't have a 3DS in the name, I kinda expect this Sonic game to be a remake. Maybe one of the Sonic Adventures or Sonic Heroes.

When in doubt, time 'em out?

lol you guys are terrible. I have never even considered intentionally timing someone out. I've only been timed out 4 times so far and it was because my opponent refused to try and attack me xD

even when I had the lead in 3 out of 4 of those cases, my opponents just WOULD NOT go aggro for some reason.
