Match up ratios alone do not dictate the viability of a character. Those are just what the matches seem to express on PAPER when you compare Sonic to any other individual character.

Player, stage, skill, and experience all play a major part in Sonic's tournament success. My list reflects NONE of that, and only focuses on those "on paper" details.

Besides, I don't need Sonic in Low Tier 1v1. I've already proved that several times.

You don't need to timeout Luigi. He doesn't have an airtight game that requires it. Like seriously you just move when he does something. You can respond to anything Luigi does in a timely manner and get away while you're at it. Watch Speed v Boss or me vs Crash.

Sonic has the advantage on PT easily. Zard and Ivysaur lose to Sonic. Squirtle only wins the matchup for like 90 seconds or less, then its all Sonic. Just run from the little dude and he can't kill you.

My younger bro mains Fox/PT.

It may just be that he knows the match up really well and me as a player, but he goes at least 50/50 with me if not better, so I'm not so sure that Sonic has the advantage.
