I definitely sympathize with KevMo on this in that he said that this situation does not lend itself well to simply following the cop and hoping the flip gives us clears or definitely indictments, etc.

Another night of hopeful investigations should do the trick without all the messy WIFOM and assumptions that we'd have to make tomorrow to get anything done.

The highest on my Scum radar is Cacti as of now. I want him to talk. However, it has been FIVE days since he's posted, and if he doesn't post tomorrow (making it SIX days), I want to commit to a lynch, because that would be technically be TWO prods added to his one prod on day 1, and he'd be kicked (so what I'm saying is, if he's not already kicked by tomorrow, I'd like to go ahead with this lynch). There has to be some reason he's not talking. Next would most likely be Ronike and Gheb, but like it's been stated before, the fate of one lies in another. If Ronike flips town, then Gheb is most likely scum, and vice versa.
It's confusing me right now; I can't tell whether Gheb is playing like he is for the lolz or for some reason. Also, Nick's investigation has only occurred once, so it's hard to determine his mental state (paranoid, insane, etc.). Ronike's role claim is so freaking weird. To help my own case, I researched Mon Mothma as a character. Her flavor lends herself as more of a Republic (town) role (she was a Senator who openly defied the Empire and convinced many of her other senators to swing the same way). Later in her career, she became the chief of state for some planet and ordered people to investigate Empirical bases. The description of Ronike's role is so strange, but seeing the flavor, I'm more tempted to believe his claim. Investigating the character was helpful in this case.

@Cacti, is this your playstyle, or do you have something to hide from us? Why haven't you posted in five days? Make a case for yourself or you may find yourself on the receiving end of a lynchsaber.

Her flavor lends herself as more of a Republic (town) role (she was a Senator who openly defied the Empire and convinced many of her other senators to swing the same way). Later in her career, she became the chief of state for some planet and ordered people to investigate Empirical bases. The description of Ronike's role is so strange, but seeing the flavor, I'm more tempted to believe his claim. Investigating the character was helpful in this case.

Um... while the character does fit the claim somewhat, it's a minor enough character that could be a mafia CC.

Can you explain to me what the basis of the Cacti wagon is? My vote was a pressure vote but what has he done that deserves a wagon down to L-1? You say that I need to explain my stuff but all of you have been on wagoning with no explanation whatsoever. Kevin you have put people at L-1 twice in this game - you are not above reasoning either.

I want to see useful posts from Marshy, Scumfever, Xiivi, Xonar and Cacti (and hopefully Chaco later). Unless you're scum you're surely able to write a decent post that's longer than one line, has more content than just an unexplained vote and does more than just look for a scapegoat or a bandwagon.

TBH, that thought didn't cross my mind. I guess I just viewed the voting of Ronike and the voting of you as either a right choice or a wrong choice (a.k.a, I vote one way, and it's town, so the other must be scum, and vice versa), and the other must be the opposite. Needless to say, thank you for pointing that out. I may have jumped to a conclusion too soon; however, it's too soon to tell either way (you sharing alignments or opposing sides), but it's an interesting inquiry.

Completely acknowledged and I actually agree with you. My purpose for researching the character was simply to see if it had ANY correlation with his claimed role. The role is fishy, and the pieces are slightly askewed between the role of the character and how Mon Mothma is in Star Wars.

Because he hasn't talked in six days.. He needs to say something. I think he has something to hide, and I'm not fond of his lurking playstyle, if you could call it that.

Either way, if Cacti doesn't respond by tomorrow, it'll be three prods and an out.

No need. Wether Cacti is at L-2 or at L-1 shouldn't makee a huge differnce at this point. I'd rather pressure other players who aren't helping either - Cacti's not the only one.

Eh don't do that. Many times the opposite is actually the case - scum gives credit to townies to look trustworthy whereas townies can just be legitimately wrong about something. By your logic all 8 players who "lynched" Xonar yesterday are scum because he's town. It doesn't work that way.

Yes, it explains your vote. It doesn't explain however why no less than 6 people vote for him at once. Don't you think that's a little drastic? Especially Marshy who literally puts him at L-1 without any explanation. Posting "claim or die" doesn't quite do it.

Anyways, I've re-read the thread, and I don't really find anyone scummy. I really do not see at all how CK was scummy day one, The so-called nudge for Meta-Kirby to hint power-role seemed like a reach to me. I didn't interpret it that way at all.
