apearantly falcons are still too bad to learn to use full hop falcon punch to approach

Question to all falcon mains: We all remember the famous upset that was KDJ vs Ken. Why in the lords name did Ken go Falcon match 3.3 vs DJ's sheik? Sandbagging? Did ken think he'd get an advantage like that? Was it a different matchup then?

KDJ isn't that great at the matchup actually. He's a legendary Sheik but not versus Falcon.

I mean against gannon we can dd around until he's in lag doing his fair stuff, but what about the chars who can just fire projectiles? (most of the top tier) is there some sort of 1/2 approach? get close and hope they go the rest of the way? What about a bair camping puff?

this is why falcon is bad, not much you can do except dash dance/retreating nair more

Dash forward and wavedash in place just outside of the opponent's range. It's more useful for tech chasing, but I've seen Cactuar do it with Fox to apply pressure/bait whiffed moves without committing himself to an attack.

where do i CP sheik? i used to pick kongo jungle but it turns out sheik can just camp the middle and crouch and be gay.
