Ahh... The ability to use a working keyboard does wonders.
Not really.
LOL to Chris saying I worship Young Link.
He's a more campy character than Link, and anyway... I like Link more.
I don't know many of the differences between PAL and NTSC, but I think Link isn't that much different (except for the Up-B spike... which was just mentioned, hence I remembered). And I know this is old, but look at Aniki, he was considered the best (or one of? (and it was NTSC)) of the... Japanese? Right? Took up Samus. Such a shame.
I think Link is pretty good, though, really. He is easy to combo with, but he doesn't have many decent killing moves. The only one I know of is his Dair and it's so painfully obvious/slow that it's hard to pull off (unless it's set up with a combo, lolol).
It's good to see you're confident, but if it's your first tournament, ever... you should probably reconsider what you're saying. I was like that with my first tournament as well. I didn't get destroyed or anything, but I did realise that I'm not as good as I thought I was.
Fox and Falco go even, in my opinion.
However, Marth still destroys them all.
JUST my opinion, I just don't understand how you can't see that Marth just r-h-h-h-hapes all of them.
Also to your previous statement, cphanaso...
Link "can beat" ... if played properly.
Yes. Well I'm pretty sure that goes for 'any' character.
It doesn't come down to how well you play the character alone, but how well you can read your opponent and how you manipulate them into doing what you want them to do.
Should see my Fox. I haven't got very much tech skill, I rely mainly on reading. =]
ALL IN ALL.
Any character can do well when played professionally and we all know this because there are players out there who use Pichu or Mewtwo or Link and so on that place (or at least DO REALLY WELL) with said character.
I know.
I suck.
Shut up.
Let's play Bowser and Mewtwo in singles and teams for Grand Finals, Dave!
Zac isn't coming anymore. </3
