So with Falco, he's barrrely able to jump out of a standing regrab after a dthrow. However, I believe it might be possible to buffer a dash grab and get the regrab.

I was testing this a little bit earlier with mikehaze, I told him to smashDI up and away as hard as he could while trying to jump.


Now here's the interesting thing: I was having success with the blue and white throws, but not the red and yellow. I'm not sure if I just kept screwing it up, or if the color actually makes a difference.

I did come up with a theory as I was driving home though. Olimar's grab has 3 different lengths: dashgrab, standing grab, pivot grab. At first I was trying it with dashgrab and he was just about always able to jump out. I didn't really test standing grab and went straight to pivot grab, and it actually started working.

I also wasn't really trying to buffer a dashgrab. I was just trying to do it fast instead of an actual buffer.

I also wanna test of a regrab is possible up to 6% because I tend to get into my throw combos from a purple toss.

From there I wanna test what followups we have. I'm already pretty fond though of dthrow-dair-usmash on Falco (guaranteed if done right) or just dthrow-dair when he's on the ledge (that won me a tourney match against Larry a few weeks ago when I was at 168 last stock and he was at 0 hahaha).

Ok, a couple things: Fino, where's this chart you mentioned? I know he was testing stuff last night (omfg WHITE UPSMASH!) but I don't see the info newhere; you're saying that white and blue dthrow have larger hitstun? And Rich, were you saying that blue and regrabs suceeded or regrabs succeeded after blue and white dthrows?

Rich, I have been experimenting with that dair to upsmash lately; I'm really happy to hear it works :D

And here's an idea that's WAY out there, but so what - if it's wrong, alright, but if it's RIGHT then **** just got real. What IF...pivot grab has an increased vertical grab range. We already know that pivot grabs have a large increase in horizontal reach (even if we haven't seen the hit bubbles for how large) - MAYBE it's possible that they get a vertical increase as well. I think this would explain why dash grab failed and pivot grab worked. And if it doesn't oh well ^_^

Logic-I'm actually not sure about the percents. The dair is short hopped. I was practicing the other night trying to line up a double sweetspotted dsmash after the dair, but I couldn't do it consistently for the life of me. An usmash is way easier to land + way easier to follow up, so I've been sticking with that. That's also pretty lame about crews. What is the roster for Atlantic North?

So, my Apex plans might fall through.

The guy I was going to travel with (he has the car) might be going to AZ for a funeral (we don't know the date, but it could be during Apex). Which means I'll be rideless. I'm planning on finding out if I need a ride, and if that's the case, would anyone be willing to help me with housing/hotel rooms? I was pretty much depending on him because he has a bunch of contacts where we could probably stay at someone's house, but, Iunno.

I was looking through the old tier lists, and I noticed Olimar was 18th on the original list, so good **** everyone that changed that :)

So really, all I need is housing. Whether at a house or a hotel with a bunch of other people

And I'll have some money. Not a lot of money, but some. Since, I really wasn't expecting to have to buy a plane ticket this close to the actual event

IT'S SO CUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!!!! I <3 Togepi :)

I got my first ghost pikmin today. It was scary O_o I was playing Snake and I had to run to each side of the stage because I didn't know which ledge it was in ;-;

And I finally figured out why I don't like Oli dittos: I can't camp him any more than he can camp me, so then I get forced to approach, which I'm not the greatest at ^_^

forward air - aereo adelante
back air - aereo trasero
pummel - pummel or "golpes durante el agarre" = "hits during the grab"

we should like team friendlies...I team friendlies with L all the time an do fairly good as a team he just doenst listen

my main thing is if you got the grab...I got the hammer (I'm kirby)

Hmmm, partially correct. I was planning on going with them, but I decided on flying instead (I'd rather not drive 36 hours roundtrip <.<''). However, I do still plan to house with them :3

Awesome, sounds like a plan. Also at low percents, lemme bang out those auto combos, I'll set you up with lots of grab>hammer though.

Don't forget to take my power ;o. Kirby's pikmin shuts down 3/4 of the cast =D
