I feel like Greward missed several attempts to punish Leon. Leon used dair a lot and that can be picked apart by Olimar very easily. Leon also wouldn't followup with his fair on Greward's shield. Peach is guaranteed either a jab or grab before we can do anything, and Leon should've done that. Albeit it's an old vid and I know that they have both gotten better at the matchup.

btw i think we can shieldgrab peach's fair if she has a pikmin latched on her, if not she can jab (i dunno about grab), but it can depent on when she hits our shield with fair

If we can shieldgrab her than we can probably usmash OoS too. I'll need to pay more attention to that next time if a latched pikmin adds enough lag for it.

Also, I bring you another European Olimar. He makes mistakes sometimes, but we all do, and there's some solid gameplay in there:


BI11 - LB - Zulu (Olimar) VS Deimos (Falco) [5/5]
BNI3 - W⅛F - Zulu (Olimar) vs iStudying (ICs) [3/3]

He loses the Icy game, but I still think the vid deserves some merit. One thing's for sure: this man grabs through platforms like no other AND IT WORKS. Also, in the Falco vid I noticed that at one time when Falco had him against the ledge he ftilted to end up on the other side of him. I don't know how safe this is, but I'm going to try it; why go around something when you can go through it?

P.S. I still love your signature Noa :D

edit: I also like that if he hits someone's shield with nair, he always DIs it behind them so they can't grab him. I know there are people that can instantly grab the other direction, but this still seems like a good rule of thumb.

if peach jabs our shield and tries to grab us, we can shield grab her first

if peach does both jabs we punish after, neither is safe for peach as long as we read it right

Scarhi's good; however, the only vids online are of him playing Charby (ZSS), and even though he plays well he still loses :(

edit: you know, I'm kinda starting to think that dair is an over-looked kill option. It's used so sparingly that when I pull it out people usually don't see it coming - who expects Olimar to strike from above? Plus it kills at realtively good percents, both with the sweet and sour spots
