Also, just to clarify: the cap is for Melee Singles, not overall registrants. So we're at 114.

You know what we should do? Music off, sound effects only (for all setups, at all times).

I would say "and then play music in the background", but I think everyone's tastes are too different.

This is actually something I've considered. All that music adds up when you have so many setups in the same room. At the beginning of the day, we might have the TO staff go to each setup and adjust the music-to-sound ratio settings so it's weighted towards the sound.

After some thought and several good arguments from attendees, Rainbow Cruise is no longer an option at this. We're just going with the MBR stagelist (with some minor changes), which means no stage bans in best-of-5 sets.

Honestly, I like the modified FC stagelist. Two bans work really well, because if both players have styles/characters that lend themselves well to janky stages, then the nature of the bans tend to swing in favor of that. But it's way too late to be making a ruleset change like that, so we're just removing Rainbow Cruise.

Edit: wait which stage we talking? The Kid Icarus stage or the skyward sword one? I personally don't like the kid icarus one at all. My original post is talking about the zelda one.
