I tried DDD the other day and got taken from like 30 percent to 110 just trying to get back on stage. Hitboxes that stay out for a long time are ****ing ****. I tried against later and he's REALLY bad at approaching or at least I'm really bad at it with him. Waddle Dees are a joke. If you have a projectile it seems DDD is in trouble.

I haven't had a chance to play a DDD since I heard about camping them hardcore. Which is odd cause AN USED to be crawling with them.

if whenever you feel like a DDD is trying to swallowcide....just hold a gernade next to the edge

as soon as u see him opening his big fat mouth....you sheild (to drop the gernade of course) and roll back

that way the DDD swallows the gernade and stuns him for alonnnng time...he falls to his death b4 given the chance to react

if the DDD has a good amount of damage and is throw off....there shouldnt be any reason why the DDD would recover

he can react and live with his up b. I use both characters as main, but yeah that works wonders to grab ddd another time when he use his UP B and grab ground release him and force him to do another up b, and continue until he is on danger zone and connect the Uptilt for win.

Edit: how do u guys do or how do u beat Peach? ( I am talking about pro lvl peaches)

In my experience with D3, Candy's tactic seems to work fairly well. Maybe the D3 I played didn't have enough reaction time but after he swallowed the grenade, he fell swiftly to his death.

Bair is just if the hitboxes cross than the aerials will clash.

Nair, I believe; Peach can DI out of enough to get a Nair as soon as possible to hit you out of it. But dont' quote me on it. I dont' want to get rawred at again.

I blame the social thread. It finally feels like there is a real community starting to build back here. Before, the Snake board felt... lifeless. Now there is some warmth in it <3

Does anyone here know what Duelists is? It's a texas thing >_>...

We showed some people on the EC at Apex and they loved it haha.

It's basicailly 4 snakes FFA on a stage with no floor. You spawn at the top (there are stairs going down both directions) and everyone runs off and trys to stay alive with C4 while trying to kill the other players.

It's really really really fun and helps with your teching and C4/nade control a lot.

I'll try to get a video up if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Naw, it's more like... well in my case... I sense that Snake obviously has a high learnig curve, and that much of the important data would be just memorization and getting familiar with non-obvious facts and so on... and this adds up to an apparent fact that, conversation with Snake players about Snake would be impossible or pointless, since the 'common understanding' to hold it up would be absent.

So people who want to get into Snake would just silently read whatever info you have, watch vids, and so on... not saying anything.

I'm here because I'm attracted to comments that contain sociological hypotheses... <_<

That's kind of how I was at first. I just lurked and read pretty much everything. I felt like I knew my snake wasn't as good as everyone else's, so there was no point in me posting my opinion. But then after I went to my first OoS tourney and was even with all the best people there, and realized I wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. So then I started posting more and more frequently.

But honestly, a lot of the people posting here aren't top-of-the-metagame snakes. Some have never even been to a tourney before, but they're still a part of this community. People shouldn't be afraid to post if they have something they'd like to add.

And I'm definitely trying out this Duelists thing at the next smash fest.

Hai guiz.
I got the highest scores on all my finals except for 1, which was only 1% off.
Tommorow I have Algebra 2, I'm only a freshmen, and I have the highest grade in that class lolz.
