according to my research, he can get it at 28...

he evolves from Swinub at 33, who leanrs ice shard at 28...

Ok so question here.

Is it possible to catch Snorlax in the wild in HG/SS?

My buddy never caught the Snorlax in the middle of the road. I was watching him play and he suddenly found a Snorlax in the wild.

I know he wasn't using an AR because he is vehemently against cheating. He nearly killed me when I cheated a few Master Balls.

Any idea why that occurred? Maybe you can get more than 1 Snorlax or something.

There's only one Snorlax.

That's gotta be some kind of AR code. Snorlax only appears once, on Route 11 via interaction.

Yep. Curselax was nigh untouchable. Same with Crocune, I think. Some Suicune set.

Now we have Close Combat and Grass Knot, hurrah.

Try I've swept entire teams with Curselax after smiting any Gengars on my opponent's teams.

Then came Superpower
and Close Combat.



Does Haze cancel out Stat changes from an Ability, such as Flash Fire?

Flash Fire isn't a stat change, but say, Motor Drive is.

It SHOULD cancel out Motor drive, I think it is just a normal +1 Spe boost.

Weird, because I explicitly stated that he is against ARing and nearly kills me every time I cheat.

I think the game just glitched or something there.

The games haven't had that kind of problem since RBY.

The only way to get Snorlax to appear somewhere else is by cheats.

Either that or it wasn't a Snorlax.

For those of you with the Japanese DS games, the WiFi event for the Pokémon Scizor, based upon the character Goon's Scizor in the upcoming movie; Phantom Champion Zoroark is now active over the Nintendo WiFi Connection. This Scizor is Level 50 and is in a Cherish Ball. It has the Swarm ability, holds a Starf Berry, and the attacks; X-Scissor, Swords Dance, Iron Defence and Agility. This WiFi event will last until July 14th 2010. and does not unlock anything new in any current & future games.

I believe they are the shiny legendary beasts that unlock Zorrack in BW. Goon's scizor is the worlds worst scizor and, in theory, unlocks nothing.

The US will get em; just closer to the advent of the movie and the new games.

It's better than Canada, where we don't get them AT ALL. I think we recently got Wi-Fi events. But we've never gotten a TRU event.

I hope everybody doesn't swarm me for those beasts. They DO unlock Zoroark and junk, but they aren't AMAZING. In fact, the only one that's at the very least competitive is Entei since he's Adamant and comes with Flare Blitz.
