Guys, I have some bad news. I just found out that the Phase 2 Clubhouse is going to be occupied from 1pm-6pm by some other organization. What this means is we won't be able to start as early as I hoped. We'll have to start bringing in setups around 6pm, begin registration at that time (should go by quickly) and start doubles promptly at 6:30pm.

Please bring TVs and Wiis.
We won't have the TVs from the other venue to work with.

New Schedule
6:00 pm - Show up at the Phase 2 Clubhouse and register.
6:30 pm - Brawl Doubles.
7:30 pm - Brawl Singles.
If we have time left over (or a small turnout), Brawl Minus.

Melee events have been cancelled. I talked with Bluezaft about doing Melee earlier and he said it wasn't a big deal. Sorry guys =(

I deeply apologize for overlooking this issue with scheduling the venue. If anything I believe 6-8 hrs is plenty of time to finish doubles and singles. I will make it happen. I understand this will cut down A LOT on how many friendlies and money matches you guys get to play. If you guys want, we can get together at some of the locals' places and do friendlies or w/e until 6. Dphat can you host one of your smashfests things Saturday morning/afternoon?

Yeah I can host something saturday morning, so don't worry. People are welcomed to come and play at my place saturday morning while waiting for phase (just no food... had alot of bad experience with people not picking there trash up).

Wow, that'll be running late.... Well, for anyone who wants practice the night before (and I guess it won't matter now how late you stay up), the Denton crew will be playing at Hot Box Pizza (Friday night). No fees-- just show up and play. We're cool like that.

edit: just read the new random late time change, that's disappointing. I'd like to come there to practice beforehand Dphat. I'll call you and confirm and see if stuff is still happening. if you don't see or reply to this post i'll call just to make sure you know I'm interested in coming. what time would practicing start there? I'm trying to avoid our last misunderstanding, i wana be a better guest :D

dude if no one has noticed this phase we are using the UTD venue.. That means no live stream.. Also it was announced it was starting late and they were cutting out Brawl Minus for this phase.
