No I agree that you shouldn't base your opinion off your character, but I'm just voicing my concerns. I could write a long post on how 5 starters is more fair, but I'm fine with 7 anyways so I don't bother, but putting pictochat instead of FD means I have to bother because it's just really not fair lol.

And I still say CS > Delphino. Both stages are bleh for me lol but I just think CS is a better starter. Some characters are way to good on Delphino.

yeah, id have to agree w/ andy/jordan/bobby. i mean they're both flat stages so it doesn't really affect me too much, but the stage transformations would allow for free damage for characters with a throw based strategy and that isn't too neutral

I'm a Lucas. All of my nightmares revolve around grabs. That and suffocating.
But mostly grabs.

EDIT: For the Pokemon showdown at Phase, I'm reducing the play time cap to 12 hours. The people I've been talking to are all really behind right now so I think a change to 12 is a good idea. Let me know ASAP if you have already exceeded this amount. Otherwise the new limit is 12, effective immediately.

It looks like there's more competition down here than there is in St. Louis. But Lain supposedly will attend the St. Louis tourney this coming weekend. Also, hypothetically speaking, if some people from Kansas came down here—say two or three people—who would house them? Remember, this is all hypothetical and not actual, but it'd be nice to know.

Since there are 7 starter stages, would you guys like to try Pictochat as a starter in place of Final Destination?

I know it doesn't fit the typical rules as a starter, but I feel a lot of TX players enjoy it and end up going there as a counterpick. I, personally, tend to strike FD every single time and I know a lot of other players do as well. I figured I might as well put on a more useful stage as a starter (ITS A STARTER, NOT A NEUTRAL) And since there are 7 starter stages, it's not like I'd be taking away from one of your previous strikes.

I've asked Dojo, Beah, Billy,and myself and they all like the idea so far. If big name players don't like the change then I won't do it, since you guys tend to win the money at these tourneys. Also, for all you Diddy mains out there complaining... seriously how often does your opponent (assuming he's not new to the competitive scene) NOT strike FD? You might have a chance of them leaving Picto open =P
