What surprised me most was she was a pale white baby sitting in a black man's lap. I thought they got at least somewhat darker

My sister was practically a ghost until she got older. Now she's just a shade or two lighter than me.

Indians are born their skin color, they don't change. I was born light skined, stayed that way, my sister was born moderate dark and she stayed that way. Actually i gotta go baby picture exploring to make sure this is true.

Nah, I don't think she does. I remember her being much lighter when we were younger.... she just got darker over time. One of those things you don't really notice as it's happening since it's so gradual.

My parents legitimately thought the hospital had given them the wrong baby though, lmao.

The trick is to focus on your wins, not your losses. I beat some girl at a tourney last week, and I felt pretty good about it. You don't see me thinking about my loss to Nakat, do you?
