Yeah the second part of the hitbox *might* get him but it isn't a consistent way to punish Nair. Retreating and turnips are probably the best options. You could try ftilt out of shield but I think his dancing blade would beat it, especially if he's well spaced.

I'm having lots of trouble with the numbers so I made this. Hope it clears things up a little bit, since they are messy, people giving different numbers everywhere, etc.

Also, it shows how the numbers are for Peach: some advantages, lots of evens, little slight disadvantages. Everything according to this thread, obviously.

MK is indeed controversial. Some say 60-40, others 70-30, or 55-45 and 65-35, but 65-35 was pretty much in the Middle, so I'd leave it to that.

I would change Squirtle to a 50-50.

Oh, and you forgot Toon Link in the grouped list (45-55).

Anyway, some other things I noticed or do not quite agree on.

Olimar: 70-30.
I know this is going to get rediscussed, but I think we all know this isn't a 70-30. 65-35, maybe 60-40 seems right to me.

Charizard: 45-55
I didn't know about this one o.o Kinda surprised me, actually. But, oh, well. don;t really know that much about Charizard anyway.

Anyway, her match-ups seem to be pretty good, actually o.o

Olimar isn't 70:30 it's 60:40. It's just that olimar has to play really gay but all the good oli's do vs. peach.

MK is 70:30 coz he's dumb like that.

Squirtle is 55:45 peach's adv or maybe even but maybe that'll need to be rediscussed too.

Lucas is 50:50

Mario is 55:45

Ness is...hmm probably 55:45 but like it might as well be even though.

Olimar did get harder, but it's still peach advantage. I'd say peach 60 olimar 40. just play EXTREMELY aggressive. never stop chasing him. it helps a lot if you don't give him time to pull out new pikmin. he tends to roll away when he wants to pull some out. so keep in mind his repetitive patterns.

i think we need more Peach v GOOD Squirtle matches to promote awareness. but right now, it just wouldn't get us anywhere. let's talk about Olimar

really? i see snake as SOOOO much closer to an even matchup than metaknight, i regularly play one of the best snakes in the MW and we have been going pretty close as of late, but MK is just ******** its a guessing game that you will lose 70% of the time.

also on the peach vs squirtle matchup, i've had a few matches with steelers trainer, and he's pretty famous for his squirtle, and all i can say is you cannot abuse your Bair enough in this matchup, it will make it very hard for squirtle to approach, when he gets you in the air just try to get back to the ground, his juggle game is just way too top tier. also jabs are a great GTFO move and use turnips for approaching like you normally would and save your Fair for the kill it will kill him rather early.

i can definitely teach you how to fight Snake. let me know next time you're in the area and i'll try to set something up with Candy, Greg or Omni

it really is one of Peach's better match ups as far as the top tiers go

well you were my first peach(iirc) and i only won on port town due to the fact u dont play on that level enouhg.

i then played Kos-Mos months later and now i have just played praxis(won majority on both). I feel its 55-45 IF the peach does not have samus exp. IF she does, its 50-50.

i say delfino because Peach can exploit that stage sooo well. She's good on all phases of the stage. and the walls and ceiling are often close/ low which is great for a character that doesn't have much kill power. she also ***** marth there. oh, and her planking is really good there.

Smashville is my favorite Neutral too. next to FD

Luigi's Mansion is banned in tristate, so i don't even include that. and it's not really one of mt favorites because i can't think of one character that wouldn't out play her there.

JJ and GG are very situational IMO. the most random things can happen. so i wouldn't rely on them. and they're also banned in tristate.

I see, well that reason still sounds a little shallow to be honest. I mean...MK can be "gay" as well but they're not so quick to ban him or anything. Again, I understand GG because of DDD (infinites are and will always be ridiculous), but Falco shouldn't be a good enough reason to have JJ banned.

eh, maybe its just me but im not a big fan of japes, i do well at exploiting the stage and i play pretty well there, but it seems i just always do better on battlefield or smashville, also i do really like delfino as peach as well except against metaknight.

I can't stand Japes. I'd rather play on Rainbow Cruise (dead serious) It's not a bad stage for Peach, but I stale my f-air so much I rely on upsmash for kills so I don't like high ceilings. I also don't like the way camping plays out on that stage. I just grow impatient here.

My favorite stages for Peach are

(1) Luigi's Mansion (the stale forward air does not apply as I can recharge my moves instantly)
(2) Brinstar (can also recharge moves here too)
(3) Final Destination

Peach is so versatile it's really hard to say what's her best stage. It just depends on the playstyle of the peach. For example, my worst stage is Delfino, and Vanz likes it. He doesn't like Luigi, but it's my best stage easily. Hard to see this kind of parity with a lot of characters when it comes to stages. It's just that I stale f-air a lot because I hit with hit like mad, so any stages with obstacles that let me recharge my moves I consider an amazing stage because I start jabbing the walls and stuff to recharge my moves, and I like using them as spacing tools because when I start jabbing them people come charging and stutter step f-smash works amazing to punish that.

As people have learned my Peach and no longer get surprised by my kill moves, I find that Japes becomes a poorer and poorer stage as I end up simply not able to kill, ever :/

I have noticed that, in general, Peaches have absurdly different playstyles from each other and thus absurdly different prefererd stages. Perhaps Peach encourages creativity.
